So I just couldnt stand to take them outta veg. Now Im starting to wonder if Im gonna have the room. They are a month into flower and the biggest is 4'8" right now. They are growing 1-2" a day. Are they gonna slow down at all or keep on trucking like this till the end? If so could I turn them on their side? Im using DWC and I was thinking of rigging away to have them going into a res sideways basicaly laying on their side. I would have them cradled with rope from the ceiling. I was thinking kinda like a V shape and having the plants lay in the bottom of the V. Then moving my light rails and have a light rail per plant. It should work right? Shit now that I think alittle more about it shouldnt that work really good. I mean the light would be hitting alot of the plant. It would be the same principle of LST and create more top growth wouldnt it? Anyone ever try anything like this?

ya man i would start a slight bending to the plant making sure not to brake any branches. you are on the right track. growth usually stops at the one month mark it should slow down soon. just curious how tall your plant was before you flowered?

dude that sound really nice, Im jealous lol. Shit that sounds like a plan to me. I think you would be using more of you light that way and they should slow down a lil. Nothing wrong with beast plants if you have the room. I cant wait to do a DWC. Soil is sweet but I could be growing faster and more. How long did you veg for?

Yes you are on the right track.
Tie those girls out and expose a lot more light to the bud sites.
It will increase your yield.
You just have to train them, gradually like 'motoracer' suggested.
Dont' try and do too much to quickly.
Make sure when you tie it one way that the base of the stem is tied and supported in the opposite direction.
If you know what I mean?

Thanks for the replys. This plant is now 3 1/2 months old. I put it into flower one month ago to the day. Actually the biggest it a product of lst already. I first topped it and made a clone outta that. Then after a week or so I started trying the branches down. The plant's lower branches are actually an X. After the top was gone I tied down the next two tallest branches and then waited to the following lower two were big enough and then tied those. The one Im talking about is the one that you can see the bucket which is a five gallon bucket. This friggin plant is taking down 2-3 litersw of water a day and normally takes half the nutes in a day too. I'll have 750 ppm and the next 300-350. The other 2 plants are almost as tall but not as bushy.

Looking good '2sim'.
That is 'sativa' doin it's thing.
Keep those girls under control. They have about 2 months to go, but it will be a great smoke.
You can bend sativa a lot so don't be afraid to tie them down like our earlier suggestions if they start getting too tall.
Next time use a wider pot if possible.
MJ roots only go down a little but then out a long way.
Those buckets look tall and narrow.
Looking forward to watching them progress.
