Right now im at about week 6 with my 3 plants. They are vegging under 2 32w 6500k fluoresent bulbs in a fixture..Ive been keeping them at about 4 inches away..they have been doing great but i dont like the stubbiness. Should i keep them 4 inches away? Or can i put them farther?
Also how big can i get these plants with this light?

You can raise the lights but your plants will stretch, why don't you like the stubbiness? most of us prefer short bushy plants, I supose you can let them grow as big as you like by veging them longer befor flowering.

Yep short and bushy is the way to go with florescent lighting. It is most likely genetic and not lighting maybe an Indica dom plant. You will need a lot more than 64 watts, get about 4 more bulbs per plant. Have at least 100 watts per plant and that is bare min IMO. You will also need to switch most of the 6500k bulbs to 2700k for flower.

I know how to flower and when to flower, im just using a 2 bulb fixture with T8 bulbs. Its 4ft long and i keep 3 plants under them. Theyre verry healthy and short and bushy..theyre all over 6 inches. If i keep moving them up and keep it at 4 inches will it keep growing up?

Ok heres what just happened to me. I had a couple growing 12/12 from seed and I topped them when they were like 6 in. One of them wasn't close enough to the light and where I topped it, The 2 new growths streched up pretty far, maybe like 2 in. maybe a little less. The other stayed short and bushy. Well I am about 5 weeks into flowering and the short bushy plant has a bunch of tight little buds and 2 nice fat little tops, the one that stretched grew tight buds and the 2 tops that grew are growing big long fat buds. So I think a little controlled stretching can be beneficial to yield. The stretched plant has bigger tops growing and you can tell by looking at it that is has more than the other plant with no stretch.

What do wanna stretch it in veg...then stretch it some more in flower....this is not a good way to grow

I have 2 growing side by side. With CFL's proximity to the the plant is very important or it will over-stretch. The plant I kept the lights right on top of is a good 4 inches shorter than the one other that stretched. They are the same age.

Yea man my stretched plant's bud are nice and long and they are plumping up every day. I stunted it by trimming too many fan leaves off but after about 2 weeks she bounced right back and is looking better and better every day. Def way nicer looking than my other plant that didnt stretch at all
