Growroom gets hot for 15 minutes each hour or two

I didn't want to kill my fans so I put them on a timer - 15 minutes break for every 45 minutes of work.

I'm went into flowering 2 weeks ago with a 400hps lamp and this morning the meter said the max temp was 97f degrees and 76% humidity. When the fans work it's fine.

Is it very bad to my plants? I don't want to burn out the expensive fans, but I don't want to loose my baby either.

fans are pretty much designed to run constantly, especially inline ones. if you paid more from them then why are you worrying about resting periods

I would just buy some cheap fans at walmart. That way they can be running most of the time, and your expensive fan will only run 15 minutes per hour. If it is getting 97F in there then thats way to fucking hot bro. You can purchase some cheap fans for like $5 at walmart and they do last a while. Best $5 I've spent on anything.

fans run for the longest if you just leave them on all the time...the starting and stopping makes the bearings expand and constrict constantly reducing their life...its best to keep it at operating temperature for long periods then give them small breaks in between...I have fans that the bearings are pretty fucked on them that need a jumpstart with my finger, but once they get going they are fine...

Def leave the fans on all the time.... YOu dont want that Spike in heat either, it can stress the plants to the point of hermaphroditing...

Seventeen fans, some run 24/7, some are on 12/12 or 17/7, but they all last at least three years before finger starting doesn't help anymore, most last longer. The more expensive fans have been running six years nonstop, that is why I paid more for them.
