You can bash my opinions all you want... but it won't change the fact that these tips have worked well for me... and it won't cause this thread to go away. You have your experiences and I have mine. I've tried to ask you to show a little respect and civility when disputing my points... but you can't seem to find it in you to do so (several of you). Therefore, you and your remarks will be disregarded my me.

I enjoyed reading what you had to say. I think you made a good point in what your getting at! Which is that people need to start thinking in terms of what this plant is, a weed. And yes of course it does not need lots of pampering. But, deff. some...

And while i do feel many of the products being sold at hydroponic shops are mostly junk (carb enriched nutes), their are certainlly some good ones. Soils and SOME nutrients are important. And the concentration of certain types of nutrients in soil, most certainly plays a factor in taste and quality. That's why bud that is grown in the Afghanistan Mountains, tastes, and feels different then weed grown in lets say the Himalayas. Good quality soil and ferts are NOT required but can obviously help stimulate cell growth, and produce bigger and better weed. Especially when growing herb in a closet type atmosphere where certain elements are already missing!

But come one peeps, give the guy a break, he's just trying to share some info on the subject. Smoke a bowl. I mean, I've been growing for almost 12 years, and can tell you this, none of us are experts. Well, except for maybe Howard Marks . The thing is, what works for you might not work for me. I've lost entire crops in the last week before harvest by taking advice! So, be careful with what you do, and learn from multiple opinions, or do what i do and trust the best one, your own!

Bottom Line: Do what works Best for You, but my advice, start w/ good genetics....

Keep it Real
