How much Nitrogen a plant needs during flowering depends on what type it is. Leafier buds need more N. On average, I'd say most plants need about as much N in flowering as P or very close to it. A ratio close to 2-2-3 commonly works well.

Ok that's what I have heard is they still need some N just not as much as when vegging. But the sunleaves link shows no N? Hmm. I guess its personal preference I think and the strain. I was just wondering and asking the guano growers how they feed but I see there will be not one the same and all will have different opinion. Thanks for the replys keep them coming if you have experience in this feeding. Thanks

you do use the Peruvian Seabird Guano (12-11-2) for 4 weeks then switch then the other 2 have 1 and .5 perhaps thats all the need thats needed perhaps if you have more then 1 plant add some more N and on the other follow the chart and see which turns out best in the end, and your welcome for the link heh i was looking at it today

So I take it you use the sunleaves line? If so what do you think about the results? What other nutes do you use?

Ive been using a mixed guano - EWC top dress when I move plants into flower. It does have some mexican guano to give the plant the final rush of N to get it as far through flower as it can without begging for more. I do let my flowers show fall colors however and that tends to start setting in around week 7ish for me.

Check my soil link for how Im currently using guano. I use it mostly as my actual fertilizer as opposed to what I put into the soil beforehand.

Heres a question. I picked up some searbird guano the other day to replace the mix of mexican and indonesian I was using for transition.
After getting it home I realized its large hard pellets instead of a powder. So how do you use it effectivly? I started to mix it into my base organic dirt instead of top dressing with it because it does not seem like it would be broken down for crap as a top dress.
