Guano useage and preferences

Well my fellow growers Im calling upon you dirt bags for thoughs and personal preferences. So I got the little side grow of soil plants going. They now are 3 days into 12/12 lighting so I figured Its about time to give them some food since I have relied on the high nitrogen in the soil I use for the veg time but now we have to kick up the phos a bit to encourage flower sites and budding. I decided I will be using Indonesian bat guano for this its the highest phos availiable from sunleaves at 0-12-0. I will also be adding sugar daddy and molasses for the extra carbs and sugars to swell these little guys up and open the resin glands. Now what Im looking for is thoughts on usage for the bat poop. Im debating whether to sprinkle the stuff ontop of the soil in the pots and lett the watering just filter over it or to actually make my water mix and add it to it. I read about 4 tsp per gallon once every 2 weeks.What do you bat poop guys think is optimol usage and measurements or id top layer on the pots the way to go?? Let me see what you got.....

well I though there was all these organic soil growers here and not 1 suggestion in an hour..for shame for shame..I am forced to go to google for help (gulp)

I have always mixed it in when i was making the soil.. it is hard to burn the plants with that stuff..

I used the same stuff for mine along with other organic nutes and look what I harvested today. three plants. Make sure you make a tea with it, and dont use it too often I noticed a little build up torweds the end

I would go with 1tbl per gallonevery other water. To make atea mix it with hot water and let it sit 24 hours. Mix all your sugars and other nute just befor watering. Ifound the sugar begins to fement if you let it stant too long.

Ok now we are talking here.I did my google and went to sunleaves and they say either way works as a top soil or as a mix with water at a ratio of 3-4 tsp (basically 1 tblesp) per gallon.I think I will do this tea mix along with my 1 table spoon molasses and the required amount of sweet for my flowering plants and use the guano in 1 water a week or 2 at most if I get to were I need more then 2 waters a week.What size light did you use on the 3 plants you got there. I went in a series and going to get larger as the flower goes. Started florescent on my clones, then 400 watt mh for 14 days veg now at a 600 watt hps I think gonna run it 3-4 weeks then go 1000watt hps from there to finish.Doing 16 plants in 3 gallon pots blueberry and sweet purple indicas with co2 injection.Veg height was about 10-12 inches in height shooting for finished at about 3 feet give or take..You use any other additives for your grow besides the guano during flower?

I only had 6 HO T5 flourecents and 1 150 watt HPS. I used Pure blend pro nutes with B'cuzz bloom stimulant and molasses

Did you do any lollipoping on these at some point just curious I see the lower branches cut away or was that from the trim up

yes I did some lollypoping 2 weeks into flowering. I could have taken a couple more branches since some of the lower ones still were staved for light. but all in all I am very happy, all organic

You use any co2 with the grow?and what ph did you use at water

No co2. PH what???? untreated Toronto tap water. you dont need all that glitz and glammer

so no idea what the rough ph of the water was huh. I use tap water but always ph it and ppm count it in my aero grows so Im so used to exact growing dirt is gonna be hard to go back and do again lol .Soil is so complicated to do now

Soil
50% cannacoco coconut choir.
50% perlite
Notice there is no organic material (Nuteients) in the grow medium.

Nutes
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Growth and Bloom farmulas. I followed the instructions on the bottle. about 1 ounce per gallon about every watering

Atami B'cuzz bloom stimulant I followed the instruction on the bottle. 1tsp per gallon every watering during flower.

Indo Bat guano. I alternated this with the Purblend or added it to it, when ever I felt my plant were "hungry"

and Molasses of course. I stopped ALL feeding two and a half weeks till finished and fushed them real good the last week. Thats it I never measued PH once. I guess Toronto city tap water is in the range for growth. Thats all I did, it was acctually really really easy, and Im a lazy stoner!

well Im gonna beat ya on a lazy dirt grow.I always use miracle grow moisture control so no nutes for veg stage at all as its full of nitrogen.Then Im not adding any nutes other then the bat guano to get the phos going and then my sugars lol.This was the plants at day 15 first day in 12/12

hey using mg soil a good idea. I found seedling and early-mid veg is the hardest to figuar out feeding amounts.

Nice plant looks great. I think that bat guano will be just fine for your nutes. If you can find the B'cuzz Bloom Stimulant. I highly recomend it! It really is a a good product. its all organic and a little goes along way.. It might be what your plants need for a little boost

I saw it today at the hydro shop picked it up but was thinking I might look into humboldt county products for this soil grow and see what happens but then I got distracted by this whirling new light setup its total 900 watt has 6 150 enhnaced spectrum bulbs on what looks like fan blades and spinns real fast. It was kinda cool keep lights real cool but was like $3000 so screw that lol was shiny though

I have seen that thing! it is fucken crazy eh! Its upposed emit the closest spectrum to the sun. go for the B'cuzz it worked well for me.

I'm curious as to whether phosphorus guano is immediately available to the plant as food or if it takes a while to be broken down and the phos absorbed. What do you think?

Should be immediate when used in a tea or water is poured over it as its pur phos and the run off will carry the micro nutes it has to the roots.
