Guerilla water pumps

I'm needing two pumps, one for a short distance, about a football field, and another for a longer distance, probably 3 football fields. It's going to run on a car battery. I'm not looking to get pressure, just a good gallon a minute flow from the hose. Both water sources are slightly elevated from the plots.

Need to know what types of pumps will work, how much they cost and where I can find them.

the only 12v pumps I can find are rv pumps. not alot of water. you might be able to figure out some type of siphon if your going down hill.

You could possibly dig a small reservoir and line with heavy-duty plastic to hold water near your grow. If your water source is higher than where you need to water it is possible to siphon it. Although a football field length is an awfully long way. I have heard of a genius pump set up that uses a hand drill. Drill powered pump that uses a rechargeable battery. Attach pump to end of drill. Remove cord and make battery powered.

i dont know if helps but i purchased a Guzzler 400H for my needs, 8 GPM is pretty decent google it!

Those are a great idea. Thanks. As far as a siphon goes. 5 feet or 5000 feet it's all the same so long as it's down hill. I think the longer the run. the better the pull.
