Guerrilla 2017

I'm scaling back this year. Won't be putting in near the work I did last year. If not for my love of growing it I might not be doing anything. Older I get the less risk I care to take. I'm not sure about my final lineup. I've got it pretty well narrowed down though. R2, Poison Warp, Rum Bayou (purple pheno) X Brain Twister, Candy Train, Amherst Sour Diesel, and Double Black X Brain Twister. It's pretty much a lineup compliments of a couple of good guys with great skills from the Northeast. I'm probably going to try and run a few Stumbleweed and Seaweed in the corn fields possibly. Corn around here usually goes mid September at the earliest. I'm chomping at the bit to crack some beans now but it's earlier than I need to. I probably won't be cracking most of them til early-mid May. I'm wanting smaller and easier to manage plants this year. Everything will be going directly in the ground and most will probably be direct in the native soil. Not sure the Amherst Sour D will finish in time but I'm going to give it a shot. Everything else is regular seeds so I'm planning on hitting the Sour D with some various pollen as well as doing some other crosses for shits and giggles. I've got Maniac Crack, Getaway Lemon Skunk, Sea Dragon, and few other strains but I'm not cracking those this year. Liked all 3 of those strains but I'm wanting to keep it small this year and try some new strains. Hopefully the weather isn't as nasty this year with the heavy rain and high humidity through August / September. We had record rainfall in July and August last year. The July rain was great with everything still vegging but August and September cost me a good 2/3rds of what I was on pace to harvest. I'm not going to have as much money and time invested so it won't sting quite as bad if it's another nightmare scenario in that regard. I'm actually going to be able to try a few of the other strains. I have a friend who I'm going to help out. He's got a good guerrilla spot so I'm told. I'm going to go out and scout it out with him sometime in the next week or two. Going to hook him up with some seedlings and the little bit of knowledge I have but keep it simple for him as it's his first stab at growing. Probably just 24 seedlings of 2-3 different strains. Planning on going out a few times with him to show him how to sex them and show him different techniques such as topping, fiming, and super cropping.

I grow in the corn as well and Im pulling my hair out right now. I moved from western NY to Northern Vermont and Im puzzled with wtf is happening w my crop. I brought a couple strains with me that finished the 25th-30th of September last year(perfect for corn) and I assumed they would do the same here in Vermont. I have over 200 out there broken up into spots of 14 that are beautiful but they still need 3 more weeks! Im crushed because I know they are going to start cutting soon. All this work, all this planing and my strains are fucking me. Everything was planted between the 5th and 15th of July, just like I do every year. WTF!! Im already worried about next year because I definitely won't be doing these genetics again. But even if I get clones or seeds from someone I won't be sure of what they will do here.

Any mold on the BT, all of the BT crosses I have are melting down or have been entirely chopped for hash, smells amazing too
If that biggest plant of mine is a BT then no. The buds have a sativa build though they are now starting to dense up. I have 2 phenos of Double Black x BT. One with rock hard...chisel and hammer hard buds. I can't even describe the fucking smell right now. The other pheno smells similar but has a fruity smell to that dominates the overall smell. If not for great weather minus the past week plus Serenade they would not still be running here lol.

Thank you sir. It looks like I'm probably going to end up with a decent pull. Thanks again for all the help. Island Afghani is such a killer strain I'm kicking myself in the ass for not running any..,,so is my girlfriend. That was hands down her favorite from last year.
Mine turned out to be a beast of a plant. But it has so far to go there is no way it will finish to maturity._DSC0447-crop.JPG None of my raised bed plants are gonna finish. So much for Sept finishing strains, I feel the early phenos are far and few between. I for one realize there are no guarantees but I was hopeful...oh well. I'm thankful I have my greenhouse plants.
