I was just teasing @Coloradoclear, who's recipe was just melting chocolate, adding concentrate, and reforming, because its not really a "recipe" but more "instructions" because well, you're not really making anything, just adding weed to chocolate. I wasn't even talking to you, quit being such a baby.

Yes you can easily get Isolate/distillate/any kind of concentrate in the UK or anywhere worldwide. Just log on to the Tor network and check out CGMC, I know a few vendors who ship concentrates worldwide. I don't even think you need an invite to join up right now.

edit: and coloradoclear knows i'm joking. at least Im pretty sure they do. Its a fine way to get thc into your system.
A recipe is a set of instructions to transform ingredients into something else.....

For example a recipe for disaster
Eat 1 brownie
Wait 15 minutes and say hey that didnt work
eat another brownine
Wait 15 minutes hey that is working a bit
Eat 1 brownie

Hehe been down that road before. I wouldn't say it wAs a disaster but I was sound asleep for several hours instead of at a family dinner .

I've also ate edibles on my lunch break from work and realized a couple hours later it might have been to big of a cookie for a work day.

Hey guys a quick question I made gummies recently using 3 grams of rosin to make roughly 90 gummies and they don’t really get you head high just a slight body high what am I doing wrong. I dissolve the rosin into the jello mix while it was hot then poured into the mold? They smell and taste really strong but won’t get you a head high? Smoking the rosin will get you blasted I can’t figure it out

You answered the question yourself . . . You didn't add enough rosin. How big are the gummy bears compared to a tootsie roll?

Needs to decarb longer I bet. If the rosin was made at a low temp then it will be mosty THCa not THC. Then adding it to the jello mix it ily cooks for a couple minutes.

I would try decarbing the rosin first and then making the gummies.

It's not as big an issue with things that back in the oven for a while, but with candies that only get heated for minutes, it would help to decarb first.

You think that is enough rosin for 90 gummy bears . . . Was guessing he would need at least 10 grams?

Yes the rosin was made at a fair temp of 180 then dissolved for maybe 2 minutes before cooking thanks for the tip

Adding more rosin would also be a great plan, you had mentioned it so I didn't repeat it . 90 is a lot even if they were small.

I think the decarbing could be an important factor as well though.

I've poured batches of candy that make about 25 good size gummies with about a gram of concentrate. That meant each gummie had roughly 40mg of extract in it. You definitely felt them . They weren't at a blow your mind level.

The gummies are pretty small I made them in the better butter silicone molds this is my first attempt at gummies and really didn’t have an idea on dosage just went with what I thought would be a decent amount so your think I will need 10g of rosin that’s a lot of rosin for a batch of gummies lol but if that’s what it takes I will give it a shot and see how it turns out

You can use 3 grams of rosin and make a smaller batch :) of gummie mixture.

These gave a nice body high but I was expecting a lot more for some reason I don’t know lol

@reallybigjesusfreak "This is not a recipe" lol . . . 10 grams of BHO to 30 Tootsie rolls. Half of one roll is about right dosage. Just to give you an idea of volume of candy to BHO.
haha I forgot about that. I was merely joking that its quite a simple recipe, thats all. I just made a tincture last week thats 2.5mg per drop, and been loving it! started fucking with terpene profiles too to try to make a day and night tincture.

The easiest and best gummy recipe that I found after researching a bit is this one:

You will need:

THC or CBD distillate (already activated -no need to decarb)

1 3-ounce package of Jell-O flavor of choice

1-1/2 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin (you can use 2 packs if you want chewier gummies)

1/3 cup water

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon citric acid powder (commonly available)

First, mix all dry ingredients together (Jell-O, gelatin and citric acid powder)

Add the water and "bloom" the Jell-O and gelatin (gently stir and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes)

Add the light corn syrup and stir until well-mixed (Don't stir aggressively or you will get too many air bubbles)

Microwave the Jell-O mixture for 35 seconds and stir gently

Microwave again for 15 seconds and stir

Repeat for 15 more seconds

Repeat again 15 seconds

Repeat again 15 seconds

At this point, the Jell-O mixture should be very warm but not boiling (you don't want bubbles) and very liquid...

Add 1 gram of THC or CBD distillate and stir in gently and very well

IF the Jell-O mixture starts to gel before you finish filling the molds, then just re-heat the mixture for another 10-15 seconds and it will thin and get watery again
Dispense the liquid into silicone gummy bear molds that have some PAM cooking oil spray, sprayed into them and allow to cool for an hour or so

Pop out the gummy bears and coat with a mixture of citric acid powder and regular granulated sugar

Stand the gummy bears up on a tray and allow them to dry for 48 hours

If the sour sugar melts onto the fresh gummies, then just wait a day and toss them with more sour sugar mix again.

After 48 hours, the gummies should be dry and chewy

Store in an airtight container at room temp -should be good for several weeks

Enjoy
