A. you think it might have been that little bit easier for that kid to aquire a gun, things being as they are...just maybe, possibly?
B. i've seen a shed load of gun lovers, users, owners in the US, and very few had personal protection as the genuine number one reason, most of the time it was more the fuck yeah america idea, i've got a gun! yeah!
i mean if it's for personal protection, why can you own an assault rifle... i'd be interested to see if there was ever a case where firepower going beyond a pistol or shotgun was required to defend an average american household.

Well lets see.......i've been shot and i still am against gun control. Try and take my gun and i will kill you with it. 
And going back to the kids stealing cars, well they used to hang horse thieves. To me a thief is almost as bad as a murderer. Try them and hang them.

oh, and only way you're gonna kill me with it is if you know i'm coming, and you'll only know i'm after your gun after it's out of your hands, no trouble at all, for the most part

So what are you going to do, ban skillets, cooking oil, and water (which can be boiled), and knives of all types ranging from the little blades in exacto-knives, to machetes?
Are you going to cut off everyone's hands and tie them down so they can not move?
Are you going to outlaw stoves and ovens, and replace the sidewalks with foam, and the roads with air mattresses?
Are you going to force people to become gelatinous blobs by cutting off their legs and arms so they can not use their knees and elbows as "weapons".

The second amendment is literally the teeth of the bill of rights. Without it the rest of the thing is just words on paper. From what i've seen of the UK there are literally cameras everywhere watching you and as an American once said "anyone who would trade liberty for safety deserves niether". The world is a dangerous place. I've had more than one person try to kill me and I wouldn't have it any other way. You can have your nanny government look after you if you want but i'll be taking care of myself thanks Because if your letting your government protect you your also letting it tell you what to do.

I will never give up my guns and as soon as I have the extra money from a better job I will register in Texas to carry one on my person. as a victim of armed robbery I will go through great lengths to protect myself should it ever happen again. additionally, I pity the fool that ever try's to break into my place. I will shoot that scum so many times...
Gun ownership is not a privilege, it is a right and don't forget that.

ummmmm, not particularly, we don't want guns in the UK, it's not that the govt is telling us that, we don't want them, we know how much they fuck up countries, i mean truly and utterly fucked up. i pretty much have NO sympathy over things like the uni shooting, shopping enter shootings, the washington sniper etc, take out as many as you want, i really couldn't care, it's the culture and country that's put the kid in that situation.
we might have had it once or twice in the UK, but that's basically it, you guys have trouble with these crazy's every other month!
