This is my grow journal . I ask that NO ONE post in my grow journal . These are the variables that im using to grow my plant .

-One seed (only one plant for starters , just to see what will happen)
-One halogenic lamp (emits u.v rays and 15% more heat)
-One pot
-Neutral soil(mixed with fertilizer and other variables)
-One fan(a must need for ventalation)
-Thermometer(measuring temperature of growing environment)
-Water(clean)
-Plant food(if needed)
-ect....(other variables like nutrients i might need)

Demention of growing environment

lenth-3.5 feet
width-3.5 feet
hight-4.2 feet

This demention is very small because my plant is being grown in a small section in my closet . I will make more space if needed

-If ever i ask a question in my journal you could give your input on the thread located in my sig . Usualy i will post the question in that thread before hand this of course if for future reference..... thanx

The germination process was completed about 2 days ago . my lack of internet service prohibited me from posting in my grow journal for some time now. Out of the 13 seeds ONLY 3 of them actually showed roots coming out of them . I took the one with the longest root that was showing and planted it in the soil that i have.

Well as of now the plant seems to be doing well . I just recently added another seed . The temp in the grow room seems to be around 85 deg . I think thats ok. the sprout is coming in nicely it shouldnt be long now . I think im watering it too much and too often . I give it water every 5-6 hours and about half a cup every time . i dont think thats good . Il be taking measurments of the water i give my plant from now on. Il try and get a pic up i just need a freaking camera. :-?

Well i recently acciured some haze cutting from a close friend of mine and im gonna try and grow it. though i here that growing clipings is the most difficult and the hardest to do cause you need to constintly attend to it all the time and make sure that all the variables are correct. though i am super estatic that i came across this clipping:mrgreen:. i have to admit that i dont have high hopes for it as this is my first time growing a cutting and im just running with it to see what happens:neutral:. i also dont have all the varaiables i need and this is one of the main reasons why i dont expect to have great success with this:cry:. i'v already made one fault and had the cutting in water for a long while so i dont even know if its good any more......... hopfully its still alright

variables

-cutting (haze)
-halogenic lamp (u.v)
-cooling unit to maintain grow room temp
-pot
-soil
-water

hopefully it will do ok

Last night i placed the cutting into soil. I then cut off some very large leaves that were weighing the plant down. So far i have the light on it and its looking ok. In about 10 days il give a small tug to see if the stem took root into the soil. It still has a lively green color and nothing has really changed. I kind of over watered it yesterday night. So il be holding off on the water for a while. also i want the soil kind of sterdy and dry so that way the stem can have something to take root too. hope everything turns out all right hopefully i can get some pics up soon.......

What you did by taking a part off another plant and starting it is called cloning. It is very easy if done right.

Cut a piece off at an / angle. Gently chew the end. Very gently. Then stick that in root hormone.

You are ready to plant the clone in a clear plastic cup with a few small holes in the bottom. First remove lower leaves. The upper leaves cut in half. Gently put in end with root hormone on it. Take another cup (this one not clear) and slip over the clear one. This way when the tender roots are fully developed and ready to transplant you won't be yanking on the tender young plant. It VERY important to keep the colored cup over the clear one. The light can kill those little roots. Water.

Now take another clear cup and turn it upside down over your clone. Tape it in place. It should look like a little greenhouse. This way you don't have to worry about watering again.

This works like a charm.
