Hello , today i was going to my patch , and last night my parents told me that there was a big black bear on our property , i was kinda owrried that when i go my patch it might attack me , i was wondering if any ever had a experience witha bear , black in would be nice.

Also , i know peopple are starting to go hunting, or shoot guns , and well some1 at work told me that pple die walking in the woods cause a hunter thought it was a animal.

I hear gun shots and i say to myelf , i think i better get outa here.

its as simple to wear hunting orange when you go in the woods when its hunting time so people do "mistake" you for an animal

Every year we have at least 1 person get shot during Deer season.

As long as the bear does not have cubs to protect and you don't come up on it and surprise it you will probably come out just fine. Make lots of noise as you walk to your area and the bear should hear you and high tail it outta there. Most wild animals would just as soon NEVER run into a person. I would be more worried about a mountain lion than a bear.

Word. A black bear will hear you and run away. A cougar will hear you and follow you for three miles without you knowing and then jump of of a rock and eat your ass.

Most likely the black bear will run away, but they have also been known to actually hunt down a human on rare occasions. I was tracking down a black bear one time and after following it's trail for about a mile i realized it basically did a circle and found my tracks and started following my tracks. I figuered it was time to go home at that point.

Wow , hunting gear sounds good , but i guess a bright shirt in general should do it.
And geez , i dident know bobcats can be so visious.

What do you guys think about fighting a black bear or bobcat ?
Sometimes i think of allways wanting a chace to fight a bear.
Dont get me wrong , i dont wana start a fight.

If you fight a blackbear hit its nose or stab its eyes. They do not like encouters with humans and will run at the sight, smell or sound of humans if there are not habituated with humans. I got bears in my back yard all the time. Bobcats are quite small and will not attack a human unless you have it treed and go up after it. When I had coon hounds I only ever lost one to a cougar and I treed over 100 bears dozens of cougars and a few bobcats. Most animals do not like humans including grizzlys. Wolverenes you need to watch out for. Hunting and training my dogs is my passion

I hope i dont got any cougars , i hear we have some cats out here , but im not sure witch one , and ive never seen one , but some one told me that 3 of those cat animals stalked and then attacked as soon as he was going in the car.

Sometimes i think the fear makes is powerless.

What do you guys think:
Stomping on a bears foot ?
- Reaction : The bear starts hopping around on one foot.

Punch the bear right in the nose
- Reaction : The bear has a huge nose bleed and runs away.

Kick the bear in the sack.
- Reaction : Bear groans in pain ,crosseyed.

1 VS 1 Boxing /streetfighting.
- Reaction :You defeat the bear and make a fur coat - or - you go home without a head.

Bobcats are just big pussy cats with bobbed tails, not much to worry about, Cougars ( Not the old ladies looking for a good time ) and mountain lions and Pumas/panthers are basically the same thing depending on what part of the world you are in, They are much bigger than a bobcat. Males can exceed 250 pounds. They will hunt you down if they are hungry, they use surprise attack from the rear and go for the head neck area in an attempt to kill you quickly. A few years ago a mtn lion took a 2 year old out of his back yard, they found him alive but it took 200+ stitches to his head to put him back together. In known US history Cougars have killed over 20 people, you more likely to get hit by lightning than to be attacked by a cougar.

If anything, I believe it is ALWAYS safe to say that ANY animal is unpredictable, and no human should think they can predict deadly animals. There are plenty of terror videos out there that shows deadly animals not running away by human scent. Humans dont always scare wildlife. Ive personally seen videos of bears sneaking up on photographers and being less than two feet away, and then standing on its hine legs, and watched as the ( not so smart) humans ran for their life. Playing unsafely with dangerous animals in my opinion is a large roll of the dice.

Fight a bear (even a very small one) and you are going to get your ass handed to you !

and lol drunken boxing , i was thinking of some sort of technique i can use , i been training my sand palm , and if i can just give it a good chop to the neck i can stun it or knock it out , but bears are strong and you dont wana get hit my them.
I still think a stomp on the foot , or a punch in the nose , or a kick to the groin , or some sort of martial arts or powerfull styles.

I do believe a bear can be taken down by a human being .
What do you think you would do if you had a face to face in counter ?

In the time it would take you to think of any of this you would be flat on the ground with a couple hundred very Solid pounds of muscle, Bone, Teeth and Claws pounding the shit out of you.
Can you think of any instance where a human subdued a bear with no weapons involved?
I can't & you are seriously underestimating your opponent if you think you even have a chance.

if i came face to face id make my self look as big as i could while looking for a big log to pick up to make me look bigger and now i have a weopon, all this while i am making as much loud annoying sounds out of my mouth. if it attacks start swingin and hope for the best

And im sure there are instances of a bear not being able to take the fight.
I might be underestimating a bear , i never actually seen one fight or anything .
But i guess with your bare hands , fighting a bear would be like 10 times harder then knowing downa fat bitch.

but id still like to know something.

bears got balls and penis ?
Then kicking them really hard in the groin should do the trick ?
And like any animal bears nose is soft , give them a good punch there , and i dont know , it might be in soo mutch pain it will run away , or it willk get even more mad.
or 3 , you jump on its back , and do a choke hold , and choke it out.

Also,when does a bear go into hibernation ?
If a bear was just comming out of hibernation it is looking for food and has hardly any energy , giving the human the advantage.
