This bill is only in the very early stages, but you have to wonder what's going on here. Treason is already a reason for expatriation, but you have to be convicted first.. so the only reason I could see this would make a difference is expanding the ability to convict even for non-treasonous activities (Remember Bush's marijuana supports terrorists).To add engaging in or supporting hostilities against the United States to the list of acts for which United States nationals would lose their nationality.
