Dude just get outta there they are fucking onto you. Pull that shit up take it out in your car into the middle of the desert and burn it. Then you need to dust down the house for fingerprints, wipe all your microscopic hairs up and remove every single bit of biological existence of you ever being in that house. Withdraw all the money you can and move to sweden.

I'd just burn down the house. It's too easy to overlook small incriminating details.

This absolutely cracks me up. Makes me miss college. I used to sniff some coke and stay up all night with friends. We would sometimes go to Walmart in the wee hours of the morning for no reason other than to kill time. I think the store asset protection folks would some times follow us around and we always thought we were being tailed by spies and such. LMAO. It is also for that reason you should never do coke alone. I once stared at a stop sign at the end of my street for 30 minutes thinking it was a cop taking pictures. Was too petrified to move. It wasn't long after that when I realized coke wasn't for me. But to the OP, you are way too paranoid. I thought I was bad.

You're either a high profile person or a victim of extremely random events.
They would just boot your door in and search your stuff. :)

In a few years you will look back on this and laugh, a chopper for a small time grow op...lol

.... wee hours of the morning.
Made me smile, thinking of a friend from long ago when he came to visit from out of town would shoot bump for hours than run around the house at 3:00 in the morning peeking out the windows sure "they" were waiting for him. He exhausted my dogs. They patiently got up and plodded along side him as he went room to room. I had to work so tried to get to sleep early. I'd get home from work, he'd be out cold, dogs would look at me bleary eyed and flop back to sleep. He was ADD on top of this and didn't realize about the dogs. A good memory of a friend who left far too early in my life.

Once some dude walking past our campus dorm pulled the fire alarm because
we were throwing paper airplanes off the balcony with firecrackers in them.

We called the Police and reported a false fire alarm.

They came by and took down his description.

Try to turn this thing around! LOL

Awesome. I had the police called on me cause a big group of us got high as hell and made custom bubble wands from wire and were outside the building blowing bubbles the size of Volkswagens. Bowling Green PD dispatched 5 units to respond to this call. We happened to be video recording the bubbles so we started interviewing the police about whether they would prefer to be real cops or if they just enjoyed harrassing college students. One of the cops got irate and started threatening to arrest all of us (20+ people) if we didn't turn the camera off. Gotta love police.

On a side note, one of the cops that responded to that call later busted me while he was under cover watching me smoke a joint on 4/20. They confiscated a quarter from me and treatened to charge me with several paraphenalia counts because I had tobacco, filter tubes, and a rolling machine for cigs. Out of about 15 people who were smoking with me (all of whom had more weed in their pockets than I and most of them were carrying glass pipes as we were celebrating 4/20), I was the only one arrested and searched because I lit the joint. This incident cost me my education. I was kicked out of BGSU and lost my scholorship money. I was on a full ride. I am just so grateful that I live in a free country. Pfft.

Right. Some '80s bullshit. Unfortuantely this was 2008. I honestly don't know of ANY 19 year old college kid that doesn't smoke some pot. And to top it off, its BOWLING GREEN - one of the bigger party schools in my area. Also has quite the hippy crowd. I feel robbed for sure. It's all good though. I learned to grow pot in college. 08 was my first grow ever and I've only gotten better since. The government can suck on my balls. And right now they are paying me unemployment to grow weed. Unfortunately I go back to work next week. The money will be welcomed back with open arms but the 2 months of free time has really been nice.

I can't stop laughing.

When i started the grow i had paranoia as the months went on i grew use to the mindset that everything is fine, they dont know anything and my life was normal.
At Lowes there would be people following me/watching me. when i first entered a strange man was in front of me. he stopped and turned his head to the side so he could see me behind him. I think he was seeing if i would go out to the gardening area for soil. so i went the opposite direction. Once in a different area across the store there was a man that would follow me around (without looking at anything else besides where i was. he didnt even have a shopping cart). I would go to different isles and before turning the corner i would see the same person going everywhere i go. There were 7 people all together 4 of which were in groups of 2. The groups of 2 would stand in areas where i was most frequently looking at supplies. The others would check to see where i was going or be in a certain area watching. i even tested this to make sure it was not paranoia by double checking everything each person does. When i was looking for a metal sheet of mesh wire a guy rolled his cart right next to me in the isle. After i left the isle to go back to a different part of the store he would stay at one section of the store and when i returned to the area he would be following me again. This same guy checked out across from me at a different register at the same time only buying a Mountain Dew. And one group of 2 was behind me at the check out buying something really random and cheap yet they were there for over an hour. like i said before this is not easy to explain and i dont expect any of you to understand it. please i do not need to be ridiculed.
about a month later a helicopter was flying right next to my window let me remind you im in a 2 story apt so someone flying that low next to a window is on to something.
So, let me get this straight... you're 19, not a "pot head", paranoid, exaggerating, can't spell, terrible grammar, can't add, look sketchy, and felt the need to share?

One of three things needs to happen. One, give up on growing, you're not cut out for it. Two, move to a legal state and stop acting like a fool. Three, keep doing what you were doing and laugh at your naive nature. I suggest #3.

There's no way a police helicopter came to check out your grow op.
You sound sketchy, so asset protection/security is obviously going to follow you around, it's their job. Buying supplies at a hardware store is not illegal, they can't call the cops on you unless you steal or hurt somebody. They're not the cops, so respect them and they will leave you alone.

Crap, now I'm paranoid. I got a single bag seed plant growing under 2 40w t-12's and a couple of 60w incandescent sun agros in clamp lights. And I got all the bulbs at HOME DEPOT! *listens for choppers* Seriously, if they busted me they'd point at the plant and laugh. Good info in this thread though. I've got a trash bag and a dryer so I'm good. Anybody know of good deals on IR detection goggles? You know, just in case.

Disagreed.. FLIR can see through walls and ceilings both... here's a video to prove it from a UAV:

As the video poster mentions... "The rafters in the roof and the heat lamps in the bathroom are clearly visible."
The U.S subprime court ruled they can not use any inferred device to look into a persons house. It's wrong search and sezer . And the just ruled this week a police dog can not sniff around ur house for the same reason. With out a search warrant even if a person can smell pot in the house. A plus for us!

Spoken like someone with no experience dealing with police. If they smell pot, that's probable cause for a search. If they are really by-the-book, they get on the phone and have a judge issue a search warrant within minutes. Don't rely on police to be by-the-book and always have a video recorder out while being harrassed. That's the only thing that will save you. I have had cops literally cuff me because I refused a search of my car (it was clean - I just know my rights). When they found nothing, I was released and cited for speeding - 39 in a 35. I could have fought the ticket obviously but the ticket was $75 to pay off and court cost to fight it would have been atleast $60. Ignorant pigs. Just goes to show, only idiots become cops for whatever reason. And it's funny that most cops I see are FAT or atleast overweight and out of shape. It makes me laugh.

If they smell pot coming from ur house they can not use a dog to sniff around with out a search warrant . A guy got busted in Florida. The cops had a drug dog sniff around the house and found out he had plants growing. With out a search warrant . The suprime court ruled in his favor. His case will be thrown out. They violated his rights, he could even take them to court if he wished. Also I'm talking about a house or place of residence. Ur talking about a car. Which the supreme court said u have less rights in a car rather then a residence. To us is apples to apples but to them it apples to oranges .

Smelling pot on your property IS probable cause for search. They only needed the warrant to use the dog. I only used the car example to illustrate how I was detained and searched without being under arrest. Florida man got off due to lazy cops. A judge would have gladly gave the warrant based on the officers account of smelling pot. Either way, my rights were certainly violated when they searched my car. Even if they hadn't detained me. Moral of the story is that cops are dirty and when your day in court comes, its your word against theirs. I wouldn't count on the cops bypassing the warrant every time.

Correct, I said this earlier but it got mentioned that normal FLIR couldn't see inside the house, just outside perimeter.. and is why that video got posted.

Careful in 7-11 buying rubbers. They will follow you thinking your running ho's. Before you know it you're balls deep in your gf and there are more choppers, one for the fuzz and a couple for the news....
