half of plant dead/dry?

i have a plant that has been flowering for 3 weeks and i left it untended for 2 days and when i came back half of the plant from the top to the middle of the plant is dry and pretty much dead looking but the other half is still in good condition any help will be appreciated the place i left it gets extremly hot but they survived hotter ive been watering them every day or two depending on the temps

Got a pic? You don't want to water based on temp you may have over watered. How hot is hot?

From nothing else it sounds like the plant got over heated, you could mist them(and put a fan on them if not, evaporation cools), instead of watering the soil.

yeah 100 is pushing things rec. is around 75ish I consider my plants to be getting hot at 80.
a combination of heat and watering will literally cause the plant to cook.

thats probably what i did but i moved it in to a refrigerator and the one that is fried still has multiple shoots that will make bud so im happy no matter what
