Half the cfm for the room size - doable?

Guys I have a 7'11 x 7'11 x 6'7 room and a 200 CFM inline fan which sucks air through a carbon filter, through short duction, through my hood, then out the room.

Can I make this work with a 200 cfm deficit? Is there such thing as these fans, but quite versions? Ill still be able to obtain negative pressure, but the air wont be as fresh, right?

Negative pressure / smell is most important to me, sound is as well. Currently, I feel the fan I have is as loud as I want to go.

Your thoughts?

hi - is this going to be possible? Are there known quiet inline duct fans at 400cfm? (muffled partially by carbon filter)?

7x7x6= 294cuft you should be ok unless the filter/duct/hood combo is too restrictive
