Hang-Dry And Dry-Rack

Was wondering if hang-drying buds would be better than; snipping them at the bud to dry-rack?

What kinda confuses me is the bend/snap part when hang-drying.

If the stem snaps towards the hanging part but is still bendy toward the nug side is it good to cure? or should it also snap where the nugs are?

Just the little bud stems. I am I usually ok to jar when I can snap a bud off its stem. But I still look at the whole picture. Don't want to jar wet buds. And I always check after about 6 hours and take them out to dry more if they feel wet or stick to each other.

Opposite is true too. If they get crispy through too much they will have no moisture left to cure. They should feel dry but still squeeze if I am making sense.

I cut individual branches and hang them in a drying closet.
