Bhang Lassi:
First Gather your ingredients and offer to Lord Shiva, not to do so creates a big offense and is not good.
light some incense, a candle, and even if its just an image on you pc offer the plate, and recite a couple of mantras, here are several, all are in latin transliteration so just say it as it is written latin pronunciation: (use the word Charas in place of Ganga when using hash)
"Om Jai Guru Ganga"
"Om Namah Shiyaya Shankara Hari Hari Ganga"
"Bhava na sana hridyam"
"Bom Bom mahadeva"
"Alakh Bom Bom Bholanath Bom Shiva"
and when stirring/handling recite "Om Namah Shivaya"

Bring water to a boil, slowly add Bhang powder or finely chopped buds, turn down heat to a simmer and stir for about 10 min stirring constantly, strain and cool

While the strained goodness is cooling chop almonds in your blender, sift out fine almond bits and set aside, then add the contents of the strainer to your blender, add small bits of milk and puree into a paste

strain to remove large chunks, add yogurt, strained goodness you put in the fridge, and milk while blending intermittently, I use rose essence in simple syrup instead of grenadine, there is no grenadine in India, add spices and ice then blend for a few minutes:

pour into whatever glass your going to drink it out of, top with the ground almonds you sifted and set aside, pour a shot glass or sake cup for Lord Shiva, Offer it to him, recite "Shiva Shiva Bam Bam Bam Bhole Ganga Namaha Alakh Niranjan" clear your head and enjoy your prasad.

Remember the plant is Lord Shiva's gift to us, He brought it here from Siva Loka to help us attain enlightenment, so it needs to be respected, worshiped, and offered to Lord Shiva. When treated properly ganja will help you on your path of enlightenment. To treat it any differently and not taking it as sacrament is considered a sin among Shaivites. I hope this finally clears up things.

there are other variations depending on your location, for instance in the south there is coconut milk added, and in north you will find the recipe you just read, here is a video of a variation that uses bananas, also very good.
