Hard calyxes or seeds

I have these things growing in my bud Im not sure if its a seed or swollen calyxes the pods have hairs coming out of some of them. I would post a pic but i dont have a camera. Im in my 6th week of flowering a dutch passion euforia plant from a clone. Does this sound like a possible hermie.

I was wondering the same thing i have opened up some of those pods in my last run some were very suspect but once dried there was no signs of any seeds. Just watch out for those banana sacks watch watch for them

Thank you for your reply I actually talked to the guy who gave me the clones and he said It was normal he said his swelled up to the size of pea's, I came super close to throwing them out.

I have the same issue right now. Look in my gallery at the first picture. Day 47 of the Shark. I too have swollen Calyxes and if I pinch them they pretty much burst with surgars and oils and are super sticky, however on some of my plants they are a little more develovped like seeds:( I am already so far along into flowering I guess I mine as well just finish them and make hash? I dont know why they all of a sudden got seedy? I was wondering if maybe my 20Watt green bulb was to powerful? I did work a few nights for a hour or two with just that green bulb strictly. its super dark, but just enough to see. anyways. let me know what you did with yours?!

if the calyx's are a bit bigger then seed size, then its seed.

i dont see why people hate seeds so much. even if a grow ends up being seed, you can have one large ass grow op outdoor next year. its not like it ALL went to waste, yeh id be pissed i lost my smokeables, but then again think in the long run, its more beneficial...unless you have all the seeds you could possibly want, and are just wanting nugs, then thats a bummer.

the whole reason i did an indoor crop this year was to pollenate ALL lower branches, the popcorn buds, so i can have myself a nice harvest next september.

yea, but I thought that if you have hermie or a plant that gets pollinated, there is a good chance the seed will prout in a similar way... either hermie or touchy? I just know if you have seeds then the plant starts making more and more of them and not as much bud? my plants looked great until about day 40ish So they had a decent amount of weight to them, now I am curious if they're going to get much bigger...I fear they're going crazy sending sugars and starches into seed production ;/

well if its a natural hermaphradite then yes the seeds will be a hermie. but if it turned hermie due to conditions, and its a female that self pollinated, the seeds will be female. i was told that by an experienced grower.

Hey all iseem to be having a similar problem im on day 45 of flower and i too have seen seed pods developing as well as finding single pollen sacks under some of the popcorn nugs which when i take off sometimes releases pollen,i am trying to get them all off but worry more about my budd development as the strain i grow raspberry cough takes 9-11weeks to finish and i have about a 4weeks to go!!!The only saving grace i think is that i will have seeds for another grow at a later date.
I only seem to see pollen sacks on one of the plants predominantly, would your advise be to harvest the one problem plant and leave the rest??
I would appreciate ANY advice at this point....
