congrats on your first grow... id say that looks like 38.5 grams after curing process of 1 month, or if you get impatient and dry it really quickly it will be more like 30 grams or so quick dried ;)

potency as in % of thc in the plant is usually Mostly dependent on the genetics of the plant... other things can factor like the plant having to increase its uv protection can increase thc and other cannabinoid compounds...

the only way you can lose potency/or should i say what it really amounts to is that you would actually be losing the amount of thc filled trichs per mm of bud... say... if you constantly handle the buds too much i.e. anything that loses that yummy frostiness, and or have a fan blow all of the trichs off etc...

so curing is more of a taste/smoothness thing... ;) enjoy the smoke :)

ok thats good to hear because ill be letting them dry properly ( is it ok if the buds are touching while they dry?) and utilizing the fruits of my labor as they cure so when i get to about a quarter of the way through the rest should be nicely cured
