Harvest Pics!

well, i had to run down there this morning and harvest ALL my plants and get them inside, its been the second frost in 2 days. wen i woke up at 6 to check the plants this morning it was -2 degrees, so i grabed my buvk knife and a garbage bag and harvested my plants before complications started to arise.

i started trimming and manicuring buds at around 11:00~AM (because i like to let the buds at least dry off) and finished at around 5:30~PM. but it was totaly worth it. i wasn't thinking this morning when i rand down there, so i dident grab my camera. i have some good pic's of the finished product though.

this is the very beginning of the drying/curing process. its around 1 1/4 LBS wet weight, it will probably be around 13Oz-15Oz dry bud weight. i'll keep ya updated.

Oh yea, this was from 10 northern lights hybrid (i dont know the exact cross). hopefully they will get me through the winter. :bigjoint::dunce:

i dont think think there is going to be as much weight as you think there is going to be. i just never get my hopes up about the yield, because once its all dried, i dont want to be disappointed if its not what i though it was going to be.

I'm sure glad our frost is at least 8 wks away. Nice crop & presentation.

Quick question. You don't do any hangtime before trimming?

Hard to imagine, you have frost and here in Florida we are planting Fall Veggies, Strawberrys and Herbs.

@dragon, yea its prolly more like 8-10Oz straight dry, smokable, bud weight.....but you can allways hope :D

@Slabhead, i only hang them long enough for the buds to be dried off so that i dont slip. i like the leaves to be still crunchy, but not crusty.

i live in the middle of BC, but the weather has been harsh, for the last 2 weeks its been raining every other day, if not every day, and when we do get sun it never realy push's past 20 degrees. lots of factors that made for early frost. i figured this might happen (seems to happen every couple of years up here)....so i planted in an area that the trees block light and the plants went 14/10 about 3 weeks earlier than normal.:peace:

Oh yea, the ziggies.....i had taken a smoke break about 10 mins before that....i diden't even realise they were there untill i was uploading them :hump:
