Harvest Questions - When to, Regeneration?

I have 2 plants - grown under CFL's - Veged 30 days, been flowering for 30 days. pics below -

The first 2 pictures are of "bigGuy" and the last 2 pics are of "monster".

-My questions-
1.) I feel like I pushed these plants into flowering before they were 100% mature. I have the "pocket microscope" from RadioCrap and the Trichs look 50% clear, 40% cloudy and 10% amber, oval shaped. Does anyone have any estimates on how much longer I can expect until they're ready? I see so many posts saying 7-9 weeks MINIMUM but it seems like my plants are getting really close...

2.) I want to regenerate one of the plants, if not both. I didn't take any clones and I want to! So...Every single "regeneration guide" on the internet is the same guide posted over and over however. It says cut the top 1/3rd of the plant off then leave small buds near the bottom. Should i cut over or under the internode? Should I cut the main cola first and then give the rest of the plant another week before removing the majority of the other buds? My healthiest fan leaves are in the top 1/3rd of the plant...can I leave those on there??? Should I switch soils and add nitrogen?

When i regen plants i cut away 90% of the bud off of the entire plant and leave as much leaf on as possible and just switch it straight back into 24/0.
Has always worked for me.
Doing it this way will create loads of new shoots for clones.
I never bother adding nitrogen straight away just feed normally but switch back to your veg nutes.

I have kept plants in the same soil for years with regen and they look a bit sorry for themselves but they survive just fine.
If your soil is not to old i wouldn't worry about repotting at least until the plant reestablishes itself into a veg cycle:blsmoke:

On the other point i think you have 2-3 weeks left to go before harvest time.

does this mean that the plant roots degenerate and regenerate asthe plant lives and dies sort of and then lives again....I'm just curious....this is rather interesting.

I don't know to be honest but this does seem likely as our skin cells do this all the time.:blsmoke:

yup...totally....and many other cells in our bodies...so no reason to think that other biological system don't function similarly. Skunk and u was talking earlier this AM about the value of Cannazym/Sensizym....I read up on this later in the day and its pretty interesting stuff. when I was at the store today, I looked but didn't find any....

thanks for the reply....so If I decide to cut the main cola off earlier, how should I cut it? With a razor blade at an angle or just siccors and str8 through it? It won't affect the rest of the plant while it continues in flowering stage?

I always just cut it with small nail scissors,i now use bonsai scissors though as i got them for free with a lamp and they are great, worth buying if you haven't got any:blsmoke:
