well heres the skinny on harvisting. you want to cut the main stock one inch from the dirt, take off the big leafs by hand, and then with some plant trimers carfuly trim all other leafs down level with the buds. untill all ya got is bud an stim, then hang up sidedown for about two weeks, and then pull all the buds from the stems and prepare for tasting!
happy growing..........seattle wiseguy

I always rrecommend removing the large fan leaves as soon as you cut the plant down... as WISEGUY stated... : )

When,... to do the more detailed trimming is really personal preference... many people prefer to do the detailed cutting immidieatley.. they feel that doing trimming after the plant drys knocks off a lot of THC crystals...

Many people hangthe plants upsde down using clothes hangers.. other people build screen/drying racks..

other people just harvest their buds and pack them in a box and mail them to me..

cheers

First, pull the plant up roots and all and hang it upside down for 24 hours. Then put each plant in a paper grocery bag with the top open for three or four days or until the leaves feel dry to the touch. Now strip the leaves off the stem and put them in a glass jar with a lid. Don't pack the leaves in tightly, you want air to reach all the leaves. The main danger in the curing process is mold. If the leaves are too damp when you put them into the jar, they will mold and since the mold will destroy the resins, mold will ruin your marijuana. you should check the jars every day by smelling them and if you smell an acrid aroma, take the weed out of the jar and spread it out on newspaper so that it can dry quickly.

o wow, i have to agree with Knowm. its realy about how ya like to do it i guess, every one is differnt. but i just trim ur plant down an pull all fan leafs off an trim the rest with small plant trimers, and then hang for a week or so in a dry dark area......take it easy man,,,,,,good luck..

i always used to pre trim but noticed it really took alot of the fresh dank smell out of the buds .I like to let leaves dry with the bids and trim after its all dry and getting all that fresh smell out right then. Bagging it up and letting them cure in that rich smell.
