Ok, so here are a few pics. I've only checked the trichs on one of the plants that's even close to harvest, and it still needs to wait as the trichs are about 75% cloudy...(btw- I'm on week 7)
Now you look at the other (obviously different) strains I have (i dont know what, as all are bagseed), and you see that while a couple are nice looking, trich-city ripening up plants, two others are shooting a shitload of white hairs out and look like each is preparing a foot long bud, BUT NO VISIBLE TRICHS YET...so I guess with my CFL setup, I just wait it out? will they start getting trichs on them? god I hope so cause if they do they are gonna be some mean plants! See the pics, one of em has a bud site as long as my hand, while another is as long as a freakin hanger almost!!!
On the ones that look like they are almost there, each of the two plants has a different smell, one sweet kinda, one just plain funky...and those plants have some nice tops, but the interesting thing is I'm so glad I LST'd as two of my nicest looking colas are really just side shoots!!
Anyway, comments, suggestions, etc are welcome. Still on my first grow and have encountered 2 males, 2 hermies (one found too late and some pollen was released), but hopefully the damage was minimal as I got it out. The final 4 fems are what you see, and each seems to be different, which isn't bad...except for the harvest, in which I'll do them one at a time, at different times, and I guess I won't be able to leave the lights off for days prior since a couple of mine are going to take many more weeks.
