has anyone ever used a dual bulb setup?

i was wondering if anyone here has ever used a dual bulb setup?you know the kind with two bulbs in the hood and the ballast has a hps and a mh plug.the reason i ask is i can get one with bulbs and the reflector for $100.00.so would i be better off getting this or a digital ballast and both spectrum bulbs?

i have an off brand 6" cool tube that is around 24" long with a 600w mh digulux and a 400w sup hps hortilux eye in it. 2 lumatek ballasts set to super lumens so around 1100w with a 6" can fan with 8" insulated ac duct that has 2 90s. 8" from glass chillin at 74degrees. but i am drawing 40-60degree air through it.
