Has anyone had ups open up their boxes when ordering lights?

Just got my shipment of a51 lights and looks like the main box that held the light boxes was opened and re taped shut. Also Justine of the 6 light boxes inside was open and left open.
Pisses me off if ups is going through my stuff.. Do you think they would have done this for reasons that I shouldn't be concerned about? Thanks

They probably planted drugs in the boxes and the police are on the way.

Lol I'm not very concerned as I know the risks involved with what I am doing... Just wondering if they did this because their suspicious of what I am doing as I've received a lot of grow equipment, or if they were just checking the contents were okay for the amount the package was insured for... Idk not worried just curious

That's something I didn't think of but could very well be the case. I doubt they would ever report these lights as they are for many things besides the tomatoes I will be growing
My last batches of a51 lights showed up fine and weren't opened or resealed. Maybe these single cob lights looked strange on the scanner. They look strange to me in person first time seeing them lol.
Sweet lights those the w90s! So dam bright!

More than likely the box opened going threw one of their sorting facilities. I doubt its legal to open peoples packages and search them without some kind of documentation, like when customs grabs peoples seeds. Those places are so busy this time of year you could ship a severed head and get it threw.

As a former taxi driver I can tell you that most packages are opened. When I delivered packages to be shipped for customers the box packages were opened right in front of me, envelopes, such as holiday cards, court documents etc weren't opened..

just be carefull i bitched about mars hydro here they had my email address also my mailing address 4 days later i get raided so be carefull

Just for fun someone should find about 15 boxes that all fit inside each other and line them with nothing but shredded paper and ship it to a buddy Tape the shit outta it.

just funny they new were and when i got my lights and its funny after i bitched about mars on here they sling my last email up i sent them then bang 4 days laters i have the pigs on more doorstep with a warrent for herb 9 years i have been doing this without an issue

I never bitches to any of the companies I used, they are great companies. I'm guessing it looked like some sort of bomb or something and since there was 6 of them individually boxed, I think they just opened one to check it out. I'm not worried but will def be smart. I'm only growing tomatoes but I don't need the cops coming down lol. I think the guy above must have given the cops some other source of suspicion besides the lights.

They don't care who is buying what really. I was a USPS driver for many years and delivered many packages also have had many fed ex ups buddies over the years . Shit gets mishandled, broken open , taped and re taped and sometimes absolutely mangled. Doctor it up a little so it holds together and send it! We never got any incentives for stopping grow equipment ect and neither did the employer we were too busy for that shit. However If a package was leaking something suspicious, looked wierd, smelled REALLY bad or was really hot/cold ect then it would get held. Trust me you got busted for something else, if you get pinched for ordering something from a hydro shop or similar place . Just an opinion.

If someone scanning a package thought something could be a bomb...I would think they would not be the ones opening it to see.

This is exactly what I think it was. These funky looking LEDs looked like bombs I bet. But seriously, no paranoia but helicopter has been circling the area. Hours straight yesterday. Hoping it's just a fluke.
