Okay I don't usually grow autos and have little intrest in them. But I did get motivate and build. Small grow box out of an old cabinet with my hydro farm 125 watt fluro, since my tent is full at the moment. So on to my pretty useless post of something that's probably been answered a million times, my seed has shot its white tail, I germinate with a damp towel blah blah.... So does anyone grow these on a 12/12 light cyce from seed, rather then me buying a New timer, which I already know they are $5 , I'd rather plug it in to my timer already going from the tent.......anyone

You can but you get a lower yield, you can give them 18-24 hours of light a day and they still will keep on flowering, why only give them 12?

Maybe ill go with 24 light, its a kitchen cabinet I modified just didn't really wanna buy an inline fan and have heat issues with running it so long....

You should be fine with a small exhaust fan and a fan inside the cabinet if the smell is not an issue. 125w will put out little bit of heat but I don't think you'll have heat issues with running 125w cfl a specially now when it's getting colder outside unless you heat your house to like 85F during winter.

The yield will blow if you go 12/12 on them. Also the quality will not be there. 18/6 all te way through is best. 24hr on will yield just fine but I personally think the quality won't be as good. Even autos need a rest!

keep them on 20/4 or 18/6, my last autoflower done really well on 20/4.
