Has my plant self pollinated?

Hi, I'm a new micro grower, only about 7 or 8 harvests under my belt. I've got 2 topped NL plants growing (never grown these before so not familiar with exactly what they lool like) in parallel in the same box and one hermie'd on me, I thought I'd removed all the male bits and was going well. One plan has fattened up a bit but the tops of the other are much thinner. Tonight I found some male bits again. Is it likely the thinness is because they've been pollinated?

Probably shock from removing the pollen sacks, causing slower growth. Don't think a male can pollinate a female until the pollen sacks explode.

I tried to pick off nanners on one of my first grows it was 1 out of 4 plants but they were 5 to 6 feet by harvest, not micro. I was able to keep the seeds down pretty well but every plant had a few seeds. In my experience even if you try hard you miss a little. Sorry about the bad turn but I am sure it will still burn

Thanks. So do pollenated plants stay quite thin?
I don't have air circulation in the box, only extraction so hopefully pollination is minimal. They've probably got up to 4 weeks left to go, so should I try to sterilise the grow area? Pollen is hardy stuff I thought so wonder if it'll do any good, maybe it's not even necessary
