Has Your Seedling Ever Smelt?

Hey, was just smelling some 9 day old purple wrecks and it's starting to smell a bit like freshly cut grass after it has be mowed.

Is this normal to smell like this?

Is it a good sign that a female maybe to come

All comments welcome and hopefully this is a good sign

ya cuz there fresh cuttins that why all about strains mate i had them and after a bit there smell more like weed mate

Yea Hopefully but these are 9 days from sprouting seeds... they are not cutting tho but would that make any difference... just hoping the smell might mean I could have a bitch on the way not bad in this time of need I "O" so am...

never know to it get bigger always seeds never smell for about a 3-4 maybe long to it get tall mine never smell much to like 5 week of vegging mate so think about it bro

i smelt that odor for 2 or 3 weeks of veggin and got 4 of 4 females but i dont think the smell was conected to it

think about what ? smell or vegging ?

Cool hopefully this will be pretty good run... it's not my 1st grow but is a 1st grow with a purple strain and auto... so far not impressed with autos and very impressed with purple wreck... the smell is only very faint, you have to get your nose right close to top of seedling and give it a good old sniff but anyways all I can do is wait and see

Looks like you've come along way since last year.

Usually my veg plants smells the same as tomatoe leaves.

my baby is about two weeks into veg as well and it has a strong grass/weed smell. Each day it starts to smell more like weed. Its medicinal so im curious how it will turn out. Hopefully its a female for me as well. It is my first grow indoors, but how long before my grow room starts to smell like weed? During flowering is the smell going to make my house stench of weed? lol

nice man, those buds looked sick! Im hoping mine turn out good! I'm about two weeks into veg now, but really the plant didn't get sufficent light till about a week ago and its taking right off! I think i'm gonna need a bigger pot before im done. I think the one its in now is like 7"? Im leaving for vacation for a week and a half though so i have a buddy looking after it why im gone. Hopefully he doesn't kill my baby! lol
