Hash QuestioN - wet bud

Can you make hash with wet bud or do I have to dry it first? ..or does it matter

One of my plants branches broke because the buds were to heavy.. so i want to make hash out of it.

If you are making bubble hash it won't matter if its wet, seeing as how its going into ice water in your bucket anyways. Some will freeze it before doing the process just to ensure the trichs fall off easier.

As for hash oil made from butane, it needs to be dry. When the butane is pumped through it freezes all the molecules. The more water in your nug the more water will be mixed into your oils that come out. As you probly know oil and water don't mix well, in fact they try to seporate from each other. So dry as a bone if your doing oil.

yup i like them wet as well no need for drying them when your useing ice

What kind of hash are you planning to make jack? Like others said, it doesn't matter if its wet. I like to put it in the freezer for about an hour beforehand, but that is about it. I usually just make iso hash, but sometimes I'll pull the bags out.

I bought choco chip cookie mix yesturday at the store.. so I guess the timing is perfect. I decided i'm going to make some Cannibutter and then some cookies! or maybe just eat the dough!

I haven't tried edibles in years. Ate too much one time and thought I was going to die an hour or two later lol. It felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

does anyone know if it would damage the final product if there is seeds in the wet bud/trimmings when it goes in the bubble bags?

won't hut it. seeds are a good reason to make hash imo.

If using the bags for bubble hash...I like to dry the material first...then freeze it...then use it in the washer.

For butter...I like to dry it....wash it...dry again...then make butter.

why do some people say dry first, and others say wet bud is fine?

What if i freeze the wet bud then clip it into stemless-small nuggets, and then run the bud twice?

Look...the wet frozen will work. But I find undried before freezing bud leaves a greener final product...which tells me the ice is washing off other residues as well as the trichs.

If you use wet bud you get less plant crap in your hash. The bud freezes better before going into the bags. If your getting green hash your mixing way to hard. I've done many batches both ways.
