have a ' set of rules' thread as a sticky

im gettin a wee bit concerned about some of the stuff thats happening on the site, seems that theres too many complaints about mod intervention at times, but then again i really do like this site and have learned, and i hope helped others, whilst in here. the only recourse we have as users is to stop coming in but i dont wanna do that even though theres other sites i visit regularly. i think the mod in question, and i wont mention by name, needs to chill out and maybe give warnings about unacceptable behaviour or post a sticky at the top of each forum listing the rules. fair enuff we all know what isnt acceptable to a point e.g severe abuse , but i use the uk growers thread and we tend to slag each other off in what may be considered an unaccepatble manner especially if its say between scottish people like myself, there are cultural things(religion for example) that cant be fully understood unless ur from within that culture. so hows about a full set of rules that we can all see, i personally never knew you couldn't offer people free stuff.
so what you all think about this? mite save a few arguments and fallouts .
plus you fuckin yanks just dont get irony, i think its coz your all a bit thick.

I totaly agree with you man. Im sure we all read the thread about my man Toushet. He was a valuable asset to this site and provided tons of help. i think the mods need to revise there way of doing things so we dont end up a kiddie sight like all the other ones out there.

I agree with you dura72. I personally knew about the "not giving stuff away" rule. Only because when I first started posting here I saw someone else get banned for it. I was at ground zero when it happened. Since then (notice my join date) I've been trying to remind or I guess inform people of it when I see it going that way. I think the other day Balzac89 said something to me about it when I was warning on a thread.

I was on the thread trying to post just as said mod did the most recent ban. Hell, he's a grown man. He'll prolly post here. No need to hide it. So I was there about to post and warn Touche; but before I could hit the Submit Post button, fdd had already locked the thread and banned both Touche and the guy begging for seeds. Blink of an eye. If I had only been able to type faster, I may have been able to save them. And I liked Touche... he really seemed like a cool guy even outside of talking about smoke with him.

So yes... I believe that Touche's wife (Touche) brought up a good point. These rules that would get one banned should be made more readily for review EVEN AFTER WE'VE ACCEPTED THEM BY JOINING.

I'm sure fdd will see this and post something up.

And that's what I was trying to say... It didn't matter if someone bought them, or he just gave them away (like Touche did), they would both get banned. And I didn't want that to happen to him, or to Touche. I hope you understand where I was coming from now.
