Have I Been Slimed????

I have recently started my first dwc grow and have just recently started getting this on my roots. I thinks is brown slime but not 100% sure. I'm usning technaflora recipie for sucess nutes, res temps are about 75-76, tent temps around 78-79, foil wrapped buckets to prevent light exposure, ph is high 5's, ppm is about 890-920. The water in the res isn't green either it's just the bucket color. I'm just about a month in and plants are small and my biggest is maybe 8in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have air stones in your buckets? Do you keep the water level that low?

You should have way more roots than that.

I keep mine at about 4 gallons of water, and use two 4" round air stones per bucket.
I don't use organics - so I also run H2O2 and have never had any kind of invasive growth in my res.

Growth looks to be stunted. As mentioned by angelsbandit your water level in the buckets seem low. If using 5GA bucket put 4GA of water/nutes per container. I personally use 2 4" round air stones in each one the ones you have pictured are fine. What type of lighting? PPM's seem high I'm at 800-900 and on 3rd day of flower! I never went over 650 during veg. Are you foliar feeding? Also as mentioned above your temps in the reservoir are too high. Mine only climb that high if I am gone for a weekend or forget to add frozen water bottles for a day or two.

Don't mean to thread jack but have same problem. My plants got slimmed to two days ago I just put some hydrogen proxide in there and brushed the slime off the roots. My root growth is good, roots are still white but have a little slim. I started putting frozen two liters in their to lower the water temp. Water temp was 73 degrees, not sure what it is now w/ frozen 2 liters

i have read that maybe there was too much water so i had emptied some out the other day and thought maybe it was root rot but i did have them at 3 1/2 gallons. the h2o2 i read about but hydro store is about 2 hours away have to make time to get there. but it is something i was thinking about since im using organics. damn i guess im not researching good enough cuz i swear i also saw that res around 800-1000 was fine. i am a noob. i have only done 3 successful grows and that was all soil this hydro stuff intrigued me so i just wanted to give it a try.

Slime is expected in an organic DWC unless you prepare for it with bennies. Organics adds extra steps to hydro without any real benefit.
