It will split and grow give it a little time. For future reference topping should only be done with a chainsaw or weed whacker.

apical dominance is the trait in plants that keep the tips (apical growth) growing. when you top, you're temporarily breaking the plants apical dominance, so that the growth hormones will get spread around the plant and the side branches will start to grow. give it a few days and they'll all catch up, then over the next week or so, apical dominance will be reasserted and the plants will begin to grow normally again, but, they now have a lot more apical tips.
when people mainline, they top 3 or 4 nodes down, and it takes a lot longer for apical dominance to reassert itself, so they get 4 or more main colas instead of one.
fimming is partial topping, you try to take the tops of the growing tips, instead of the whole tip. apical dominance is only broken for a short time, the plant gets bushier, but not as bushy as an entirely topped plant. however, it doesn't take as long for the plant to recover from it, and regular growth resumes pretty quickly.

your plants look fine, just give em a few days, they'll get over it
