have to harvest early...Bud Rot. What do you think of the trichs???

Unfortunately I'm having to harvest early. A few days ago there were a few bud rot spots on my Chruch's, today they are 3X as many and a few main colas are under attack.

The shitty part is the weather turned better 2 days ago, 80 degrees on my patio and sun and it's supposed to last another 3 days. Still the night time humidity is 85-95%, even on clear nights and in takes until noon for the humidity to clear. Even if i bring the plants in, I'm dealing with 60% humidity...

Looking at the trichs, what do you experts think...I'm about 1 week early?? picture 4 though 7 is of the outbreak

Any advice before I chop these guys up?? Any opinions on potency

Sick ass rot man, i spotted a bit on my girls the other day. Pulled the nug off straight away.

Fuck it tho if you have to chop it chop it, prolonging it will only make things worse.

Looks like grand buddage to me.

Yep same deal for me - it's been wet and humid all week and the rot is setting in. Time to chop chop - rot spreads pretty fast. If they were real early you could try just cutting out the impacted nugs. But chopping might best at this point - I know I am...

I have yet to experience rot but i know how the tragedy that comes with it.
I go to my plants every week to water and nourish them , this week we had a hell a lot a rain.
Im just curious if a week is enough time to spot the mold before it destroy the whole thing.

OK I've put off havest until Sunday, 3 days of sun and 80's on my deck (love having the dark house and large tile tarrace, it raises temps about 10-15 degrees above actual). was high 70's yesterday, 90's on my deck.

I've performed surgery on the effected bud sites and will treat these sites as well as morning powdry mildew with hydrogen peroxide solution (diluted).

do you guys know if the plant will continue to mature indoors without direct sunlight???

My plants went through 7 straight days of 100% humidity and rain, although 4 of the 5 did not experience direct rain. The one that did, developed some rot within 2 days on the bottom branches, but it might have been pest induced. The other plants were tightly fit into my green house which contained 5 more plants. This was a mistake since there was not enough air circulation and the humidity was still 99%. They only stayed in there for a day. I then moved them to a covered patio. 5-6 days later, bud rot started to appear on just about every plant and one in the greenhouse. I've been cutting out of main colas.

The other mistake, which is a big time learning experience, is that my Church's the plant that have been attacked and are supposed to be mold resistant, spent a bunch of time near my tomato plants which had a bit of late blight, clearly some spore transfered.

I would say shake your plants off, create some space between the bud site (with straws perhaps), use a Q-tip to with mild hydrogen peroxide solution to treat any high risks sites (use new Q-tip per site).

My breakout is a heart break considering these plant were pampered thought the grow...

I feel for you brother, because my plants look just like yours, and I am going through the same thing.

Here in the souteast, we've had a lotta rain lately too, and I've noticed a spot or two of the dreaded rot. I wanted to wait another week at least, but I might take my plants sooner. Rain and moisture are two big enemies right now. The more sunny days the better!

If your weather has turned for you Vansterdam, I think you should be ok if you can cut out the infected sites and do a thorough hydrogen peroxide solution cleanse of the rest of the plant. I would do that before harvesting early. But if you notice that you still get new areas of infection I would go ahead and call it a harvest.

I have had a lot of rain at my grow site here of late and today I noticed a small popcorn bud that had all the signs of rot, so I cut it out and threw it away. A careful inspection of the rest of my grow didn't show any more areas and thankfully the weather has turned back to sunny and warm. I am hopeful I dodged a bullet, but will keep an eye on it.

that bud could easily go another 3 weeks.. try to hold out as long as possible man, you want all the hairs to be orange and dying off. that's when about 20% of the trichs are amber.

rot got me too...I took all the big colas, they were the ones that showed a little rot, and left the rest. a few days later rot showed on some of the other buds...i cut them.

yo that is far from done my man.. im in the same boat.. no mold... YET, but we just got 4-6 inches of rain.. my lemon haze trunk was submerged... theyre all tipping over and fucked up looking.. but that bud of yours seems to be another 2 weeks EASY. i lost about a 1/4 last year to mold.. i just picked off whatever turned, and let the rest keep going.. fuck it right?

This is my first attempt by myself. I've helped my sons but have never done this all alone. I have my son's help, but they aren't always available. I noticed bud rot yesterday on 2 of my 23 Bubba Blues. they are in our greenhouse. The weather just changed this week so I know that's why the rot has started. I have my dehumidifier going as of yesterday and this morning cut out the bad spots. I know there is more that I just haven't spotted yet. I watered with my bud hardner this last Tuesday. I know I have to flush before harvesting. But how long do I have to flush for before I can safely harvest? I only have 7 days left my sons say. but with the rot coming on I'm not sure what I should do.

Chop it, things will only get worse my friend. Your better off biting the bullet and cut your losses or in a week you might not have any weed to smoke.
