I'm about 2 weeks from harvest and the fire inspector is coming to our house tomorrow. I was thinking of putting the plants in the woods int he backyard tonight, but sunrise is at 6:00 am tomorrow and my light schedule doesn't have the lights going off til 12 midnight. will this extra long day hurt them? also, it is supposed to rain tomorrow so will the water hurt the buds if i bring the plants in by 1:00 pm?

Thanks

Get a big refrigerator box if you can. If they won't fit you'll have to put them out and take your chances that way. Having the fire inspector see them probably means going to prison.

shouldn't do too much damage, one day isn't too bad. Make sure if it rains to shake off that extra water so they buds don't get moldy or get too heavy and break the stems.

My understanding is that once the plants are very far along in the 12/12 light cycle, a small light interruption won't force them back into veg. So you should be fine if they're only off schedule for a day or so.

As an example, my grow lamp went out and I didn't find out about it for 2 days, i.e. my plants were in 2 days of darkness. Got the new lamp up and running and they just kept on flowering like normal.

Hope that helps. Peace.
