Have you asked your Senator?

It occured to me that H.R. 5842 The Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act does not have a corresponding bill in the Senate. So yesterday I wrote to Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden and asked them to introduce one to protect the 32,000 OMMP participants that they represent. I also sent one to Jeff Merkeley, who is running against Gordon Smith this cycle.

I would like to encourage everyone on this board to send letters to each of your Senators and any opponents who may be running against them asking them to bring forward this important legislation to protect patients.

My Senator is Diane Fienstein. A total waste of time to write her about anything. On the Med MJ issue ... she's totally in the bag of the DEA.
