I trimmed down the leaves and hung up in my cuboard to be closed and dark for 72 hours but i didnt have enough space so i put some on the bottom, none of them are touching so there shouldnt be any mold. trimmed back it weighed at 97grams

See if you can find a screen or pantyhose and put the extra buds on that. It would be a lot better of air can circulate underneath. Aim for 96 hours not 72 and I'd say 22-27 grams dry. Good luck, almost there.

Hey MeekMill looking good. This is one of those things that everyone has their own little way of doing that works for them and their drying\curing environment. Me personally i have found that hanging the whole plant after chop for 2-3 days then pulling off fan leaves and other leaves gives me a better smell and taste of my final product. I used to trim my buds and hang right after chop but with my setup and situation my buds would just dry too fast allowing the chlorophyll to lock into the bud and not break down. This results in a grassy hay smell and harsher taste. From my experience the slower you let your plant dry without outside wounds from trimming the more smoother, aromatic, and tastier the medicine. Of course you want to keep an eye out for mold. Some say that the trimming is harder if you let the plant dry as a whole. And yes they have a point as the leafs are more sucked into the bud. So it comes down to what works for you and how much time you want to put into. Personally i take the extra time to trim once the plant has dried as a whole because it works for me and gives me a great taste and smell. Try both methods and see what you think :peace:
