Haw close to set your 400w lights

I am going to move my girls into flower on saterday. and i wanted to know haw close can i move the lights. i have a boolm box and i will need to raise the plants up to the lights. and lower them as needed.

Start about 14 inches away and use the back of your hand at the canopy top to feel if its hot or not. Too warm, move the light up and opposite if its not hot.

12 to 16 and you should be fine. The thing to do is get them as close as possible without hurting the plants. Set them up at 12 in away and put your hand on top of the plant near the light and leave it there if it gets unconfortable after a bit then your too close.

LOL he answered at same time I did and did it quicker and better..

be careful about one thing, make sure even if they are not getting burned that you dont put it to close like a few inchs. I managed to keep it cool enough to do this and I ended up light bleaching the uppermost portions of my colas.

They are white. Look a little funky. So back at keast 6 inchs is the rule
