Headaches and Vomiting

Hey guys, does anybody know what could cause vomiting and nausea from smoking? I grew a 60 day autoflower, (Fruit Auto - Dinafem) harvested on day 62 and dried for 7 days. I then placed the buds in paper bags and let the moisture come out, then placed them in jars with boveda humidipacks. They've been curing for about 3 weeks. There's no mold and no rot. My wife smoked a joint with me last night and she threw up several times and says she feels like she has motion sickness. She is one of the rare few that doesn't get a head high from weed no matter how much she smokes so she couldn't have been greening out. She's still sick this morning but seems a little better. I woke up with a bad headache. Just wondering if anybody knows what could cause this. I've considered every possibility I could think of. We've never gotten sick from anything I grew before. Could it be the autoflower?

did you ever spray or foliar feed with anything at all?
motion sickness does happen with certain strains, especially sativas.
but that's accompanied by a fairly intense visual "sparkly" sort of high
I know of nothing inherent to autoflowers that'd induce vomiting or headaches..
what did you guys eat?
if there are any digestive maladies involved i'd look there prior
food poisoning takes a long ass time to manifest itself, sometimes up to 20 hrs or even longer

Not auto-flower. Could only be:

- Contaminated buds

- The strain THC / CBD strength / ratios

- Coincidence
I don't think contamination is the issue. Like I said, I dried them, began curing in paper bags and then placed in jars.
THC/CBD - could you elaborate? The breeder says 6 - 12% THC, High CBD (no value)

No foliar feeding at all. I never do that. Gave it a good flush 10 days before harvesting. Ate a basic meal last night - chicken and potatoes.

From all you said, it just sounds like a Coincidence. I have never heard of that low of THC doing anything like that. Of course, everyone is different and have different effects. If anything, it should help with nausea.

Any other gastrointestinal issues?
chicken is a common culprit for bacterial problems
Dirty ol bird farts make me sick. they taste and smell just like the poo they spray. I stopped eating chicken and eggs ones I got some hens and realized how nasty they are and that they taste like dirty ol bird farts.

To the op it was probably lunch not dinner if it was food poisoning

Idk if it's coincidence because she said she felt sick the past two nights before last night from just smoking a bowl of it. I just took a handful of buds out and they do still smell a little 'green' but they are completely dry. Like I said, they've been curing for 3 weeks now.

Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome?

Other than that, I don't know. Mold maybe.

I think I've only ever felt nauseous once when I smoked and I was tripping balls. I think they call it "greening out." Even then it was very, very mild. Didn't throw up or feel like it.

Otherwise, weed always takes nausea away for me.

Post pics of your buds?

Some people might disagree with me, but you should attempt a slower cure before jaring with the humidipacks. If your product didn't seem off in any way then ill go with coincidence.

Did you cure your buds up a hookers butt hole or something? :spew:
Personally, I smoked some bud my friend grew once....I don't think he flushed it properly, same thing happened but I'd a very racy high, heavy chest, harsh throat followed by waves of sickness.

What in the hell are you talking about??
Just expressing my "beef" with chicken. while also suggesting to the op that it may not have been his basic diner but maybe something they had for lunch.

Sorry for speaking in riddles.
