Ya its been chilly lately. Lots of shops on colfax and surrounding area. Don't go east of quebec on Colfax :). Stay in the rebuilt nicer looking side west. Not much too it though, walk in, present ID 2 or 3 times. get weed or hash or whatever, done. I hear buds in boulder are a bit better, I haven't been up lately to check it though. I do like boulder, very cool place where people are still nice and care a little. Sometimes too much but whatever. Just remember, the places where people used to smoke in public are the same places people do now. Were not walking the street downtown smoking doobs. We're still somewhat discreet. Try n be safe, have fun!

Yup, Yup! Had family in the Phoenix area. Lived in Tucson, then in High Desert of CA, Snow bird is rite. "sighs", then realizes he relegated to Frozen North fur a while. Nice Brother. Just as an aside, in the CO lived in Aurora area, mississippi and chambers area, and do avoid E. Colfax area, Gma lived in E. Colfax lil up from Havana, Close to old Lowry AFB. Not the best. Once the base left went to hell in handbasket! Keep tha Peace!

big money behind Thanks for information - thinking about it ---it's just like when alcohol became "legal" we need big money behind it similar to the Kennedy's and Rockafellors whom made their money by running alcohol from Canada - Once other states see how much money can be made legalization will become for "acceptable" Hope it's soon!!!!!

Considering that "moving" are living expenses high not meaning "high" Many people say it's expensive in CO.? Your input and are you glad you made the move? Understand one can also get a cultivators licence, but costs as usual

It is a bit expensive here in CO. I payed over 800 for a 1 bedroom, 1000 after bills. Bought a new car and registration was 550, yeesh. Taxes are like 9%. ect ect. You can grow six plants, up to 12 with two or more people in a house. half can be mature. That's why I decided to do my first grow even though i barely smoke .05 a gram each night and sometimes not. Cultivators license for big growers, to start a weed business, ya it's not cheap, ain't no joke. Lived here 3 1/2 years and I love it. Good bar scenes in different cool neighborhoods. Good food too! Nicer people compared to your average city. People drive a little more mellow. Traffic is the only thing I hate here. Always wanted to move here since I visited as a kid and here I am. I'm from AZ, miss it sometimes ,but enough to go back anytime soon.

I am not going to make any suggestions here but just lay down some info/and ?s.

For rec seeds in denver, livwell has a some chem crosses.

You can only purchase 7g at a time, but you could go to multiple stores a day.

Do not smoke and drive in urban areas i would say, police are super friendly and easy unless you smoke on the road.

CL has good prices and an ever changing selection.
Rec taxes are about 30% but can be higher due to county or municipal taxes.

Denver disps close at 7 or sooner by law. Other towns like boulder or aurora may have later times.

Be polite and carry ID.

Clones are all about, livwell broadway has rec clones.
Sorry to mention them twice but many places are med only for seeds and clones.

Smell everything before you buy it.

Buyer beware!!! There are many spoofed strains that are just random genetics with a popular name to increase sales.
feel free to ask about potency and effects and flavor. Its the cannabeliers/ bud tenders job to know this stuff. Ignorant bud tenders and non partaking bud tenders are out there and they bother me to no end.

IME, The Green Solution has very frosty flowers and their concentrates are clean and tasty

Id avoid shops that sell pipes and give you bud. Thats just me. They skeeve me out

i pay 1300/ month for 4bd 2bt and 2 car garage electricity is high because they know everyone grows lol 600$ a month in electricity. It can be expensive BUT there are shit tons of ways you can make big money not just from growing.

Expensive depending on where youre from. Cali folks flock here because its cheaper to them, same for some east coasters.
if youre from other states, it will seem expensive.

But know that Denvers average salary is 24k each year.

Look up a cost of living calculator if considering moving and know that denver rents keep doubling.
it will be NYC style eventually i think but friendlier hopefully.
places away fron denver may be cheaper to buy/rent

Ditto on the rent...consider a house share arrangement. They can be had for 450/mo.
I opted to live with a cute yoga teacher who can't cook worth a shit. But on the plus side she's great with her hands.
