Since when are HC "medical folks"? Ambrose is an appointed puppet with ZERO medical credentials.
the most annoying thing ever imo.. shes just a politician.. they fuck up so much that they need a health minister who can put a game face on and apologize and talk out her ass...

I'm glad to see them licensing producers again - things need to start moving forward before the next court date absolutely.
Aphria has some big names behind it as well - I don't see them taking this lightly and they're certainly not new to growing plants used for medicine.

Also curious to see what Tweed does about all their branding - it's so heavy on photos of product and their facility, etc..

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/health-canada-grants-aphria-licence-to-grow-and-sell-marijuana/article21821901/

Under an order from the Supreme Court of Canada, the federal government must provide patients who use medical marijuana with a safe, secure supply of the drug.

Can someone confirm this part? I'm not as familiar with the case, but I keep hearing about "supply", but this is the first time I've noticed it listed as a "safe, secure supply". Are these adjectives from the court case? If so, they shouldn't be overlooked.

I know about the case, but I'm not "as familiar" as those of you who have already dissected it.
I've read numerous summaries and responses, but not the actual source material.

Genuinely curious if those words are in there.

Here's what I found. To much to read through to find specific wording. But yes hc has to provide Canadians with a safe secure source for thier meds. That's why pps came into existence amd why we now have lp's. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_history_of_cannabis_in_Canada

Maybe I'm just reading into it too much then, but if the Supreme Court has deemed that the system has to be "secure", than that could also apply to any "alternative" system that took place in 2015. Home gardens...

Where are all the small time producers that were supposed to be next in line?
I speak with some of them from time to time, but nothing is changing.
I keep hearing that they are still waiting on inspections to let them grow, then they still have to get another inspection once they've grown a crop.

i have a feeling the sc will ban grows in buildings where people reside but not our right to grow our own. I see a lot of sheds and garages being built.

I agree that they have to and that this may work, but if their concern is security of the product then I doubt household grows would be allowed.
I think It's really going to depend on how much weight they put on "security".

At the same time, LPs like Mettrum are bleeding product back into the market, so security is a joke.
