Heh guys, I need some help. I have a 6.5x6.5x6.5 tent w a 1000w MH for veg. Last night it was 50 degrees outside, I had every vent on the bottom of the tent open and all fans running. Windows open with fans blowing air inside. This morning the temp in the pot was 82 degrees!! I know that's not horrible, but I'm concerned because if it only drops to 82 when it's 50 outside, will an AC even make a difference?? Considering most ACs only go to 60....any ideas guys? I have a 250cfm fan for exhaust at both ends of the duct. Also have a 250cfm at each end of the lights duct...

Air cooled reflector? carbon filter?

Are you using duct booster fans / axial fans?

A 6 inch centrifugal fan that flows over 400 cfm with an air cooled reflector should work fine.

Air cooled. Yes booster fans. Rated at 250cfm. One pulling air in from outside (I live in maine!) before the light and one after the light as well. Also have one as an exhaust.

Older pic but set up is the same minus the t5. Thanks for your time I appreciate it!

Ok, yeah the pic helps.

I would just use a 6 inch centrifugal fan exhausting connected to the reflector, other end of reflector open, or dust filter.

If you need to use what you have, it'd probably be better just to take the fan and duct off the reflector that is pushing air.

You could use that fan as an intake fan as well.

Awesome idea. I overthink everything!! Just want this to be as low maint as possible, as far as the temps anyways, and to harvest smoke that I can be proud of. Thanks for your time bud and happy growing to you!

Venting through the hood like that won't release all the humidity?
