OK I made the jump into a homemade Aeroponics system 6 site put only have 4 at the moment .I am using a 150 watt hps light. the tent is 3ft wide 20 inches deep 6ft tall as u see in the pic my fan is a 50cmf fan like for a bathroom and a 4in little fan plus a pc fan that i hung next to my light to try to help keep it cool but still having heat issues my mid day it hits 103. i going to hang the fan a couple of inches above my light and see if that helps . plus my i think i need to vent the shed it is in outside if i did that and add a inline fan for intake will that be enough or should i just get a better exhaust fan?
I side note i been thinking about adding co2 making it using yeast sugar and water in a 2 lt bottle with an air hose running inside the tent is this a good idea ?View attachment 1523864

co2 will help, but if you are going to be serious about growing in a tent, you are going to have to get proper exhaust going. I ended up having to buy and install a dman window AC to keep that room cool enough so the tent stays near 84. If I turn the AC off, the tent quickly climbs to 100 in the summer.

yeah well what size fan should i get? i just seen some viedos on a diy air condianter which is a basicly a sub pum in a res ov wate and ice the water runs around a copper pipe which is wierd to the front and back and back in theres have every thing here to test one out ithe fan is 11in i think so i think i keep it on the out side of the tent and cool the air going in see if that helps i post a pic when done

The most flow you can get. I have a 1000 w hps in my dr 150 or a 5x5 with a 480cfm fan blow threw my hood and my temps stay within 2*f of outside temp. Sounds like you just need more flow.
Co2 will only help if you can controll the ppm to the dot which cost more... lots more then a good fan. Also... if your moving more air into the tent with a bigger fan then the co2 level will never drop there for adding co2 is almost pointless. I havnt seen any dramatic increase in yeild when I added co2 vs just alot f air turn over.

ok tems are way to high been researching fans and found this Hayden Inc. 3680 Electric Fan it for a car radiator so it runs on 12 volts and puts out 800 cfms if i built a shroud and hooked it up 2 tent pulling air out if that will do the trick i get the fan tonight and will mount inside and will for surely let every one know how it worked . If this gets my temp down i can in theory hook it up to a deep cycle marine 12volt battery and a trickle solar charger and save on some energy cost
