heat of hids will my venting be enough

i have a cabinet i intend to use to grow in its 1.2 metres by 60cm by 2meters high i think in feet its about 4 by 2 by 6.5. The only thing stopping me is the choice of lighting. Im determined that i want to use hid because of there obvious advantages. My question is about the hids if i use a 250w mh for veg and a 250w hps 4 flower in that space will it get too hot or can i use more powerfull like 400w. Hydroponic system i will be using is a modified bubbleponics system and will only take up 1foot by 4 foot inside the grow cabinet can the hid spread its light effectively over that area i am only using one at a time but i have not bought any as yet so it is still a decision i have to make nothing about lighting is set in stone. I can make 2 holes directly to the outside of the building the distance between the inside of the cabinet and the outside of the outer wall of the building is only 1 inch.so i plan on putting an intake at the pot level and an exhaust on the inside of the cabinet on the top. Both using in-line fans and 4inch ducting. Please im desperate as this is the final missing piece and its holding me up now.

Run the biggest light you can. If you use an air cooled hood with those vent holes, you could run a 600w (mabye 1k) in that space.

lol my bad. i do most of the posts off my mobile, too lazy to punctuate. thanx 4 thw tip now i can start to grow... will post pics as soon as the set up is ready. its my first indoor and hydroponics grow so i will need as many pointers as i can get..

if i used a 400w hid with a good reflector, would that be able to effectively cover the entire grow area?? how many plants would fit in there i was thinking of growing lots but keeping them low and bushy..

The damn lights are tying me up...

Our grow spaces are the same dimensions, and im worried about the heat.

I think that 400 would be the perfect amount of light, if a reflective material, such as mylar is used to line the walls.

But, i also think that 400w would get too hot, unless you have the money to spend on a hood that allows for a cooling system.(Or just get a cheap deflector, and rig it with a Duct.) Thats more than likely what im going to have to do....

Im just going for 4 girls at a time(Poison Dwarf Autoflower), so im thinking that a 150w HPS with a cheap 4" inline duct fan, vented out under the house with a carbon filter should do the trick.

Then again, im not too sure if i can even get 4 out of a 150w...

iv pretty much decided im gonna go 4 the 250w, cos the 150 better 4 heat but not enough light even with a room covered in mylar i think the light will be too little. So i would rather deal wit the heat the reflector boxes are cheap here.(i don live in the states so we cant exactly compare prices) but im modifying mine its metal so i can just cut a hole in the back of it 4 my ducting and vent it directly outside thats the advantage of the place where mine will be its in my factory the walls are thin on the office floor. The only thing is that i have someone who works wit me that will not approve at all of my lil slice of heaven. Anyways keep me posted on up grow im keen to c what someone else can do wit a space like mine. IM me when u start a thread 4 it..im planning growing about 10 till i can c pre flower and landing up with about 5 males witch i will violently gut and if im lucky 5 females. So i will end up wit the same amount of plants during flowering as u started wit. But this is not my first grow its just my first indoor grow iv done some fukd up jungle grows.it frustrated me When i stayed on my dads farm i was about 13-14, i grew in the tree tops just in the canopy so they got plenty of light it was such a bitch to climb those trees just to find half ur crop was male! But i had a plan i sold the males just the male plant to the farm workers they dried and smoked it i cant think it did anything but wat eva money 4 nothing really . But alas im not 13 anymore and not fukin retarded like i used to be.(i won a fuk clime a 15m tree anymore). What is your intake temps in your grow room? I have a 400 in a 3'x3' area and and it is 7 degrees higher in the grow room than my intake temp. I'd be deciding between a 250 and a 400 with your grow area. Good luck!
