heat stress or just needing cal-mag?

i have never used my bottle of cal-mag. not even once. but i noticed now on my s.a.g.e. plant that there is a little blotchy yellow spots on a few of the top fan leaves. the leaves on this one plant are also curling upward on the outside edges. they are approximately on the 7th - 8th week of flowering.

my temps get hot at times in the tent. peaked at 99 yesterday. but i run C02 and try to constantly keep it around 1500ppm.

i was wondering if its heat stress or if my girl is needing something else? maybe some cal-mag?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

a 100 deg room does not help under any circumstance and 7-8 weeks into flower wood suggest nitro def . if sage is a 10-11 week strain then ure gonna b flushing soon anyway

true. i looked closer and its only the very top few fan leaves of one cola that are now just slightly turned up. there only seems to be a couple leaves that have a few minor blotchy yellow spots too so it doesn't appear to be anything major. i fed them lightly with cal-mag, liquid karma, voodoo juice and some molassis. so we will see if that helps or not.

i can't get the temps down for anything... those girls put out some heat...

does anyone think that cal-mag plus is beneficial during the later stages of flowering? i saw somewhere that it said it helps to produce more trichomes.

is this true? i just botanicare pbp bloom, liquid karma, etc already

Leaves curling up is sometimes a sign of over watering? Your heat is way to high. Get it back down into the low 80's.

What type of CO2 are u using.

Check your PH if high or low that can lock out the minerals the plant needs.

When in doubt flush.

When you get closer to the end of the flowering period it is normal to have some plans with yellow leaves and some not. Most of the time the plants directly under the light get yellow before the plants on the edges.

Cal/mag

I would check all the above before adding anything new to the mix. But if you just have too add no more than 25% of the recommended.

Peace

Happy New year

If the leaf edges are curling up and folding its heat stress. If the leaf tips are curling up and the leaves are yellow with a green triangle or so on the bottom to middle of the leaf its mag def.

Will cal mag increase trich production? No.

Do I think you should add cal-mag? No.

Do I think your room is too motherfucking hot and shouldn't be getting too much over 85 degrees? Yes.

well everything i have read says that C02 is pointless unless the temps are up in the 90's. i know the temps don't need to be as high but if i could make them lower i would. my tent just cant keep the temps where my controller wants them. i have everything set to at least try to keep them under 92 but it just ends up peaking in the higher 90's before the lights shut off. i don't know exactly how long my controller lets the temps get their highest, but looking in there last the temp was 89. so its not a thing that is constant.

i have C02 injected frequently (whenever the c.a.p. gets below 1500ppm) and after every exhaust

i added a little cal-mag plus anyways. these girls are loving everything even in the high temps! especially the sage n sour! four huge colas that are solid as beer can :)

Just a point. Temps reach the high 100's during the summer where I live. I know more than one person who harvested 10lbs.+ this last outdoor season. It's not ideal, but it seems to work.

yep. am i bet those plants didn't have a constant supply of fresh C02 being blasted all over their leaves everytime it drops below 1500ppm :) :) :weed:

i am not worried at all anymore. these three girls are stacked and starting to do their final sativa swell. i love seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

Just what the wind blows. :D

I'm coming to the conclusion that people on this forum worry about the small shit way too much...and it's contagious to newbs like myself.
