heat?

How do i control heat or get heat period to my plant i got her in my closet with 250w hps but it gets cold during my 8hr off time

Give her 20 hours of light and 4 hours of dark. I got my electric heater from craigslist for ten dollars.

Why 20? I got it 18 and 6

This was 18/6 full veg for 4wks with temps at 70 dose 20/4 help veg more?

how cold during the off time ?
they are good down to 55f 60f or so

Less darkness, less coldness. Shouldn't hurt your plants. Could help photosynthesis.

Oh forsure and its thats the case for the heat im good.its around 59

Hours Veg 18/6 to 24/7 Flower can be 8/16 to 12/12 The most common used
if you are in Flower using HPS then you need more darkness. Some people use both mh and hps for veg but you did not say that.
In veg the warmer the better.. 75-85 if you are running co2 then 85-95 but that is only good for 600w and above which would not help you.
In flower on the colder side after 3 weeks but not below 55. Anything after that the plant will go into stunt mode 99% of the time. Unless you have high altitude strains or cold weather strains

The space heater is good but can be hard to maintain a steady temp if your in a small area. make sure you have an intake and outtake for exhaust. get creative with heat if you need to. just pay attention to the intake and make sure its not coming from something dirty.

Veg 24/0....growth is better that way imo. Tighter nodes that way. Maybe slower growth somewhat but tighter nodes. 12/12, i would let them get cold at lights off....just not below 60ish...
