The wind im not so worried about becuase I have it staked but will heavy rains do much damage?

A friend plants outdoors here. He has lost several plants to wet weather. Keep in mind, his stuff is on hillsides. Flat-landers have an even worse problem. In the last 30 days we have had a quarter inch of rain, or more, in half the days. Within a 50 mile radius of me, people have had 13-18 inches of rain in the last 30 days.

Tomato plants should be 24 inches tall now. I have not gotten mine into the garden yet. But, it WILL get better.

Its quite windy right now in the residential part so I thought I might have had a prob with it breaking. but when I went down to the site the wind was much calmer.

rains cool, i like the rain. It gives water to all the thirsty things. Unless u have an irrigation system set up outside i wouldnt worrie too much. The herb is a very tough plant.
