Hellish temps, holy crap!!!

Oh my gawd............. just turned on two 150 hps lamps in a 15' sq foot closet on my patio.....temps went from 75 d to 99 in an hour!!! had a "big" fan pointed "at" the door....with a small intake. No temp drop.....

I need help/ideas soon!!! My space is 5x3x8..... I'm only gonna use 6 sq ft of it.... (1/2 of the area) 3x2.5 = 7 sq feet
My door is a solid core, there is NO WAY to drill into the "attic" above..so no vent there...
HOW can I cool the room?
I have a dart board stationed in the center of the door,

Should I cut a "stealth hole"

"behind the dart board, and vent from there???" With some type of squirrel cage fan and dryer tubing?????

Could you cut - say a 1/2 inch off the bottom of the door?
Run a dryer hose from the top of the cab down to the bottom where it vents out the bottom. You'd need to build some sort of vent that's long and thin. Cardboard works great for this....

I like the dartboard idea though - that could work nicely if done up right.

I've got a pair of 150s as well, in a similar space. I went with air cooling the lights.

wafflehouse is right - air cool the lights - and you need to exhaust out - not just vent in.

You need to get rid of the furnace. Seems like some folks have been using t-5's and cfl's. Its amazing if you don't create the heat, you don't have to get rid of it. VV

Think I'm just punt on first down, and gonna punch a hole in the celing, and see what falls through!!!
It's in the mid 40's right now, had the lights on for over two hrs, and temps standing steady at 75*


OK, so I punched a 4x6 inch hole in the ceiling, and the suction nearly took my hand off....jk, but it definately solved the problem, I could feel the air coming in from the bottom of the door.....went and checked it 15 min later and it had dropped 1 degree, and 1 H.% as well. So I stuffed some towels and kept a "leeetle" space for air to get in. I'm sure when it warms up outside, I can just pull the towels, and if needed put in a fan.
