what size inline should I use to cool 2 1000 aircool hood thinking about a eight inch inline. I am using 1 six inch inline to cool 2 600 watt.

how big of a area are u controlling 4x4x6 is rough 100cf.......if u are a 8x8x6 that is 200cf........so a 400cfm fan would clear out the room 2 times a min

a 6 inch inline fan should be around 400 cfms .............if u are doing a strait ducting not many bends or to much lenght that should be more then enough

i used a 6 inch 400cfm for 2 tents .....1 had 2 600w 4 90degree bends .....other was a 1000w 2 90 degree bends with 25 feet lenght.........added a power intake of 240 cfms(6 inch booster fan with metal blades) on each tent and i was fine for more then a year of growing hydro and soil

the metal blades are better if a bug gets sucked in with a open vent odds it gets chopped instead of stunned by the plastic blades

u got no worries
that is 298 cf ..............a 6 inch running at 400 cfms on 2 1000w (i am assuming cooltube)
looks something like this

if so then yah u are good if u run them in a strait line...........if u are worried about it u can always add a 6 inch booster fan somewhere in the ducting to help boost the speed for long ducting or multi bends

Two fans/blowers are good in case one fails. If you choose to use more than one unit on a duct be sure they are similair in speck.

same type of design

400 cfm u should be good ...............u would be empty out the air in your tent once every 45 secs.........this is overkill
