Help a girl choosing quantum board/driver

There have been posts here that show some copy cat QBs are not what they were advertised as, output numbers didn't match with the diodes they claim were used.
true..well i had one tested and it came up a few % less..i am growing incredible stuff with it anyway

and i think it had to do with too many diodes and the fact and lost some of the current compared to the less diodes one that was more efficient..i believe they were 561's

it needed 2 oz of copper for the tracing and iam getting it done now with two separate links to each half of the diodes

280 leds then a wago then 280 more
i also switched to another factory

these people are just posturing and have no knowledge of what that board will do

and ALL the boards are all made in china

you should have just bought the boards first and not bothered posting

these magic panels ALL started with experimenting with 561 strips
glad people are satisfied with qb's

just do not let these people push you around....everythjng is anectdotal

i am OUT of this thread..

Ok and what driver should i use ?
From the factory HS

Ask them ? We don't know what to tell you as we don't know that product to be sure. @Stephenj37826 @robincnn HLG is where most of us bought our lights from and got our driver recommendations for drivers.

Your asking for support and help from a copied product from a sponsor on this site. It my be identical but I doubt it says HLG on the boards.

I know it's not what you want to hear but i would start here https://www.rollitup.org/t/diy-with-quantum-boards.927159/
Then i would look at the Growmau5 vids on you tube to get an understanding of volts, milliamps, watts.
I read all 300+ pages ( its now 385 pages) before i finally made my decision.

You seem to have an idea of what you want 240-1050
It looks like the the hlg-240-c1750 would be a good match for two of those boards.

But that's just a guess. Like Chaoshunter said a lot of us are new to QB and we get all our smarts from robin and stephen in the thread i linked above.

you tested the HS boards ? Maybe wasnt the most apropriated driver, this boards are cheaper, maybe because came from the manufacture and ive a tight buget lol what drivers do you recomend ?

NO..i do not know your board

my 560 led panel tested less photons per watt than the 304 qb

not a lot less[but less}..and if you see my grows here they easily as good as anyones qb grow

BUT the test was just a boot in the butt to get everything right and i AM in the process of doing it.

qb's are good they have good support...but its not proprietary magic

ok now i am really "out" of this thread

Thanks for the info :) see you later :p

Sure try 2 boards but remember that running them at a higher current you'll want some ambient airflow around or on the heatsinks. What heatsinks are you planning on using anyway?
Hi :) i was planning use a flat piece of aluminium maybe 5mm or more and the driver iam still figuring it out but maybe hlg 240 1750mah
